Re: Sherlock - BBC [3]
I like the new Bill Wiggins, I hope to see more of him in series 4. I liked they did a smack house instead of the opium den, I guess London hasnt changed that much in 100 years.

Re: Sherlock - BBC [3]
I was very pleased with how Bill was done.
And in his Last Bow there is a character I mentioned previously that Id like to see, but wasn't in it, exactly- in the book its someone Holmes trusts to do a better job tracking someone done than all of Scotland Yard combined-

- Spoiler:
- a dog- but we did get Red Beard so I am taking it that was the nod to the original there.

also about the cliffhanger (11.44) https://youtu.be/1YR3VC_ac0M?t=11m44s :
edit: it is also a very interesting and funny panel, so it is totally worth the watch if you got 40 minutes especially now that we have series 3 as well
- Spoiler:
- BULLSHIT!

Re: Sherlock - BBC [3]
i like how when John points out that Sherlock un-straightens the knocker, Sherlock hasn't realized (either) that he did it. OCD anyone?
also is this a metaphor?
- series 3 final:
- and did mycroft know he was being drugged.. perhaps not, but sherlock did tell him it was something in the punch and told him to take more.
Re: Sherlock - BBC [3]
Hi, new to the forum. I am a big fan of Sherlock, and was just moping at my computer screen after ep3. I didn't discover the series before season 3 started, and watched S1 and S2 in one go. I was already bit by the bug already after the very first episode. I also watch a lot of nerdcubed on Youtube. His forum is just full of gamers, and some people that watch Sherlock, so you won't find that much "Sherlock enthusiasm" in them. Daniel him self is really reflected, and has some great views on a lot of things. Not just Sherlock. I was laughing through the whole video with the comic con panel.. haha.

Moffat: "he'd (sherlock) poison his girlfriend just to see if it works"
Sherlock (I the sign of three): "Now John, I'de poison"
(i don't have gifs for these quotes, but they are true i have a very good memory)

I took that to mean he always did that so he would be sure if Mycroft was visiting. Though the other explanation works as well. It probably both come to think of it.
It does kind of sound like something they might have done as children, from what we have seen of their relationship.

I'm guessing it was written that way to make people speculate. I'm sure they know all about the fans love for doing exactly that.

i meant the door-knob thing was a metaphor.. the one chaotic brother, the other one has more order
but anyway! some articles:
Sherlock stunt double (radiotimes)
Sherlockology takes us behind the scenes of 221 Bakestreet
not sherlock related, but freeman related:
The voorman problem gets an oscar nomination (radiotimes)

Re: Sherlock - BBC [3]
I accepted the "door knock" thing to be OCD on them both. both like things their own way.

Ah, so we were pretty much saying the same thing.
I like that view. The messy one and the tidy one. They've probably been messying/tidying up for eachother their whole life.

Do you think they were up on that rooftop and fake suiciding at each other?
Now why did you say that like that, Moffat?

Re: Sherlock - BBC [3]
wouldnt mind being a "fly on the wall" in that episode, I wonder if they shared childhood secrets etc ? you know, between Benny-boy & his parents & Mark Gatiss ??

Re: Sherlock - BBC [3]
i like that in that scene Mycroft just says "no" ready to cover for them both, but Sherlock just instantly blames Mycroft
Re: Sherlock - BBC [3]
can't remember if i shared this or if i got it from here, but here it is anyway (i think the part where they forced Benedict and Martin to read fanfiction (porn) is cut out.. there was a lot of reactions to it, the interviewer more or less made fun of the fans, which of course the actors don't. they take their fans really seriously) also the interviewer is.. rude. like she clearly wants the actors to say something juicy, and she clearly doesn't respect the fans (they way she talks about them squeeling) and why the fuck point out mistakes that u barely can see goddammit?! like that u can spot fans in the underground shot and she doesn't let it go and wants to find the fans in the audience, i bet the fans didn't want to ruin it, i bet they don't think it's funny, and moffat even points out that "why do u keep saying that"

calling sherlock fans "virgins" is an insult.

Re: Sherlock - BBC [3]
But "dork" and "dick" are both slang terms for penis, so I'm not sure how that refutes anything. (Was this a controversy to begin with?)
