I was simply being sarcastic people!

I noticed not everyone liked that "Friday" song, but maybe you'd all prefer the original?

Timeless classic, or what huh!

Sarcasm... mmmm whats that?

tried to explain to Squach that the comment was sarcastic, but she was just more incensed that he got the blame!

If we're going to talk classics, surely Queen has to be in there somewhere!

I think he smoked too muched before recording that one, his voice is so slow its almost stopped!

Apologies Squach- but do go and listen to some beatles- was trying to think what to suggest but there's so much thats unbelievably good hard to pick. Personally I prefer Sergeant Pepper, White Album, Abbey Road to the earlier more pop stuff but you takes yer pick!

I go through different phases in my favourite Beatles albums and songs. The first Beatles album I ever heard was Sgt Pepper- I loved it, and for about a year it was A Day in the Life- that was the song. Then I heard Rubber Soul, so then it was drive my car. Then Magical Mystery Tour, then it was I am the Walrus/Strawberry fields. Actually the more I think about it, Magical Mystery Tour is very underrated Beatles album. This process has happened for most of their albums, I listen to it till I know the lyrics from memory then move on! For example, recently I've been listening to a lot of The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill and the rest of The Beatles, but I'm glad I managed to clear that up. Can't have people thinking I'm a 'Beatles hater'!

As for Queen, they are most definitely top of the list if I ever enter a bike race.... Very Happy

Hmmmm.... only on this forum could (1) a YouTube Thread be in the New Members section and (2) only on this forum could a New Member log on as a New Member on a YouTube Thread! This Forum is an utter outrage. I have half a notion to make a complaint on the Complaints Thread - when it WAS a Complaints Thread! Mad Mad

You know, this all makes me wonder sometimes why I was Instrumental in saving this forum in the first place. Misplaced loyalty, maybe? Mad

(NB Greetings Chris who is Sam! ...or Sam who is Chris... (only on this forum.... Shocked ).

(NBB Did you mention The Beatles, Saradoc? And aren't you a Beatles fan too, Ally? I suppose neither of you is ALL bad after all! Shocked )

Welcome Chris! Who says your're Sam? If you have two, that's pretty cool! This forum makes no sense, but at the same time, it makes perfect sense. If that makes any sense, I'm not that sensible sometimes. We all appreciate your astronomical efforts in saving the forum Odo. We do. Honestly!

I'm a fan of The Beatles; I wasn't aware Ally even knew who they were though, so she's not that good. Positively bad I say!

If by that you mean spurious tales and rumours spread about that are only loosely based on truth then I agree (and you should apply for a job as reporter with the NotP, a perfect match! Wink )
