American comedy show, set in the California Institute of Technology (CalTech). That a show about geeks could be so popular is actually a hopeful sign, I'm thinking.

I'm betting we'll end up with another trailer all about the elves or Laketown or more of Jackson's made up content than something actually about the Hobbit as we know it from the book. Jackson has to get people used to his changes and made up characters. So they will probably take the forefront of any promotional material. We gotta get used to Tauriel warrior princess, and Beorn the mulleted hedgehog, and elves that defy gravity, Maybe he'll even have a flashback of Gollum losing the ring so we don't forget the point of the film. It's all about Sauron and the ring and its political effects on middle earth

Isn't that what the Hobbit is really about?

Maybe Frodo will be in the trailer to remind us that it's a Middle-earth movie.

I do wonder if old!Bilbo and Frodo will show up again in DOS, or if their framing scenes will be limited to the first and last films of the trilogy.

Also, will this trailer result in a short-term return of optimism and PJ praise here like the last trailer did?
