no, shepherd, i don't think it has anything to do with his expression. yes, he is supposed to look different in this, exited, a bit worried, but brave and eager and all that, but his face is badly photoshoped, the lighting make his eyes look.. i dunno, like they don't belong together and his face is a bit.. too narrow. idk. it's just really bad photoshopping.

am i the only one who thinks the editor of this poster has done a really shitty job? martin freeman has a wonderful face, very cabable at showing different emotions without being too obvious, yet they chose to light and airbrush and contrast and what not to the point where his facial features are gone and you're left with this face with a mouth and eyes and it vaguely represents anythig, at least not martin freeman or bilbo... it's just.. it feels weird.

I agree entirely Norc, photoshopping people is a bane of modern society, it not only leads to general ageism and a increasing lack of any respect or appreciation for the elderly, it also leads to numerous eating and psychological damage when bombarded with images of alleged people who look impossible, and are in fact impossible outside of a pc.

'aboot it' would be the preferred phrase.
Possiby with 'scunnered'* in there too, if its annoying you to the point of your crabbit sliding into despair at the state of the world and your place reletive to it, as in 'I'm fair scunnered aboot it'.

Actually Norc, half of that was make-up.  Why don't I hear people hoopin' and hollerin' about THAT?

I generally prefer women without makeup.  Those who do put on make up and do a really good job of it, I admit they do funny fluttery things to my tummy, but you feel like you can't touch them.  So what's the point?
