I'm afraid that even if that were the case, Angmar and Sons would have to resurrect you so that you can do your review.
Re: In theatres: 'Desolation of Smaug' | SPOILERS

He'll probably cast PT as the villain in his next movie.

Today, I saw 2 different cinema posters on my travels, I noticed how each one was different, especially Tauriel's.

I was still remembering the information I got from Norc. For some reason Norway isn't listed on the official site. Will update.
Re: In theatres: 'Desolation of Smaug' | SPOILERS
Legolas looks like a creep in this movie.

I am curious. Why is Norway first? Why are they not all on the same day?

Re: In theatres: 'Desolation of Smaug' | SPOILERS
I have no idea why Norway is getting the movies so early but there are different considerations in each country. A lot of countries have different norms for which day of the week movies tend to be released on. And sometimes they have to schedule around local holidays and the like. Recently, a lot of movies have started releasing overseas a week or two before they release in America in order to get reviews and box office returns to build up hype for the domestic audience. Obviously that's not happening with The Hobbit ... though I don't know why the Australian distributor is waiting until after Christmas. Apparently that's not unusual for Aus, though.

Re: In theatres: 'Desolation of Smaug' | SPOILERS
I think it's down to the movie theaters, particularly outside the big markets, having a large say on when they want to premier the movie. Though within some limits of course. And here in Oslo they have built a reputation upon having the earliest releases possible, particularly with these big movies.

Re: In theatres: 'Desolation of Smaug' | SPOILERS
Leggy certainly does ! Tauriel was the reason I posted on here, all that time ago. She made me want to be sick with rage then & she still makes me feel sick now ! I will NOT change my views on her ! And Bard, in any other film Id say "Whoar! Baby yeah !" but he sounds like Orlando, acts like Orlando & is just a dark haired version. Legolas has been having one to many "Elfs" in the old shrubbery & looks night worn & puffy.

Re: In theatres: 'Desolation of Smaug' | SPOILERS
It's midnight in Norway now. Do Fjordian theatres insist on playing 15+ minutes of previews in front of movies like American ones do?
Re: In theatres: 'Desolation of Smaug' | SPOILERS
They do, but probably a lot less. And I think they would have started the movie on time having the previews first.
So I would guess Norc will be watching the movie right now.

Lucky. Here, they show adverts before the posted start time, and then they show the movie trailers after that time, so that the actual movie you paid to see sometimes doesn't start until close to 20 minutes after it's scheduled to. On the plus side, you don't have to worry about getting there late.
Re: In theatres: 'Desolation of Smaug' | SPOILERS
Norc! You must write your review as SOON as you get out of the cinema. We have internet on our mobile phones these days, there is no excuse. I don't care if you're kidnapped by a snowman or offered a sleigh-ride by Santa Claus, you are writing that review and posting it! Or I'll be skewering Benedict Cumberbum with a Morgul blade.
