Watched "Cloud Atlas" today & I thought it was brilliant ! it jumps time zones every few minutes but it does it SO smoothly that I didnt feel confused or fed up with it. The cast is limited to a handful,ie:- Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Hugh Grant, Hugo Weaving,(& more) but they each play a different character in each time era,yet they are all connected. You would not recgonise Hugo Weaving as Nurse Noakes ! & Hugh Grant gave the best performance Id seen him do ! & NO stuttering ! Jim Broadbent was the star of the film for me, Tom hanks looked amazing in each character role. I would reccomend this film whole heartedly. If you dont "get" the story, you'll love the character portrayals ! Do give it a go if you can. Best film Ive seen in ages & a refreshing idea & style. I was hooked, havnt been able to say that in ages. If your like me & want to know who played what, at the end of the film the actors are listed & the characters they each played, VERY interesting ! you MIGHT get a surprise !

Cloud Atlas is one of the films I missed when it came out, but it's on my list to watch when I get the chance. I'm glad to hear that you liked it, Azriel!

Re: Seen any good films lately?
I watched Arthur Christmas back when it came out, around Christmas 2011, and I absolutely adored it. I still need to get a copy on DVD so I can watch it again each Christmas season.
Re: Seen any good films lately?
Just watched "Life of Pi" & it was beautiful ! It meandered along melodically, the CGI was magically done,as if in a dream, the narration was sweetly spoken & kept you engaged. The lead actor was so believable, I felt as he felt, I enjoyed it, Worth watching !!
