Yeah it definitely felt like

Spoiler:

I'm not entirely sure how I feel about it as someone without much of a connection to the Bond franchise. :/

Ive seen enough "crash bang wallop" Bond films & I really liked SKYFALL, It was a more personal story, about James Bond. Now we have..or should I not say if some people havnt seen it ?! Dont want to spoil it for them. Suspect

Who's everyone's favorite James Bond? A lot of people I talked to likes Sean Connery, but thinks Daniel Craig's the real badass.

I keep meaning to watch the old Connery Bond films but I haven't gotten around to it. I'd actually never watched a Bond movie before Casino Royale, but that's one of my favorite movies regardless of series. I liked Skyfall too, though not as much as CR.

Sean Connery IS James Bond. The pace of the films is slower but they are so much more satisfying.

No better place to start Eldo than Doctor No. Very Happy

Bond when he was still a spy and did spy stuff (mind you he also hit women, a lot)

What Petty said. Dr No defined James Bond, even more so than the books.

Up until Daniel Craig in Casino Royale all other films were merely playing riffs on the theme. And Skyfall is a long fond tribute to all that went before.

I suppose you could try watching them chronologically to the books. The films are all out of order.
The book order is-

Casino Royal
Live and Let Die
Moonraker
Diamonds Are Forever
From Russia, with Love
Dr. No
Goldfinger
For Your Eyes Only
Thunderball
The Spy Who Loved Me
On Her Majesty's Secret Service
You Only Live Twice
The Man with the Golden Gun
Octopussy
The Living Daylight
Quantum of Solace
From a View to a Kill
For Your Eyes Only
The Living Daylights

Watched Good bad and the ugly on blu-ray with extra scenes in that i'd not seen before. Brillo. Might have to sneak it into my top 5 (again) 2 westerns in my top 5, not bad for someone who only likes sic\fi fantasy movies.

Antonio's my boy. I've had a man-crush on him ever since Desperado, which is one of my fav flicks. Masterful use of cinemographic artistry.

Ah yes, the greatest shootout ever put on film. So many gun battles put on the screen, bullets flying everywhere, but nobody has ever matched what Sergio Leone did with one single bullet. Not even close.

Love Once Upon Time in the West- I'm not a huge Western fan but that film is superb.

You know I think as my coffin trundles towards the curtain on the way to the fire (in the extra strength room-buckie is very flammable, and Im mainly buckie and plan on being self pickled from the inside by then) I think I would like this-

or of its a faster moving coffin this-

-nice to give everyone some perspective to a tune they can tap their foot too. Nod
