Re: Not so crabbit now! [2]
Those two are splendid together.
Actually, Russel Brand is splendid in any appearances he makes!
Well ok he does make the three anchors look like shallow idiots, but here's an interesting interview:
I like this aspect to his public personality: that he is using his public platform to actively promote change in an area he sees as being important. Instead of simply being the guy who once was a total wasted addict and who has now moved on and is widely accepted in entertainment, he is working towards reforming what he see as the systematic processes that allowed or forced his addiction to damage his earlier life to the extent that it did (or, more importantly, to the extent that it has damaged the friends he may have lost to drug addiction in the past).

Was that an unblocked version, Petty?
I don't understand the point of this blocking of websites by country; it seems to be done internally rather than by the countries. For what possible purpose?

Far as I can tell if you are logged in on youtube and do a search it wont return stuff thats blocked in your region.
So when someone posts something thats region blocked its usually worth just copying and pasting the title into youtube and seeing if its available in your area. 9/10 it is.

International rights. The Daily Show, for example, can be streamed on Comedy Central's website from most countries in the world. But the agreement that licenses the show in the UK includes streaming rights, so people in the UK cannot watch the show except through the local licensee (which I don't think has made it freely available online).
Re: Not so crabbit now! [2]
Well, so long as I can blame the British, I'm happy.

Hey! You'd better be nicer to your kids if you want us to visit you in the nursing home of former world powers.
Re: Not so crabbit now! [2]
Well seeing as you choose to move out years ago it would be nice if you stopped acting like a teenage country and hoping to have an Empire, we all go through it at some stage, France, Germany, the Romans, even the Dutch had a go, they were all a bit rubbish compared to our Empire of course but you have to grow out of it at some point and put a tie on and stop screwing up the world. Bloody teenagers.

Yes, squirrels like acorns. But how do you pronounce 'squirrel'?

Re: Not so crabbit now! [2]
If 'ekorn' is the Norwegian for 'squirrel' (though everyone knows it's the word for 'acorn', I mean, come on - you can't fool me that easily) then where did 'skværrol' come from? ("Squarely roll" only fooled me for about 2 minutes)
The original question is how you say 'squirrel' if you are trying to speak English.

Re: Not so crabbit now! [2]
acorn is eikenøtt in norwegian.
squirrel is ekorn in norwegian.
skværrol is the mispronunciation of squirrel i think you are hoping for. it has a very obvious norwegian accent.

it was a joke. i know how to pronounce squirrel!halfwise wrote:Oh, I get it. That's the closest you think you'll come. Cute.
Re: Not so crabbit now! [2]
No, I asked google translate to pronounce the Norwegian word for acorn, and it very clearly said "I cannot". Something's very fishy.
I'm sticking with 'ekorn' is Norwegian for acorn. Google translate knows. It knows.
