Now theres a thought... a bare bum Petty with his jocks on fire, running across the glen, skipping recklessly over the heather ! You do realise his practically embalmed already ?! he'd go up like a firework ! all that would be left to remember him by is, a pair of charred smouldering boots & the torn burnt tatters of an unidentified kilt ! Oh & the sent of burnt buckie in the air for months on end ! Even the sheep wont graze there !

Spontaneous buckie combustion is a major cause of death in Scotshobbitland Azriel- not to be treated lightly!

Have you any Fire retardant under crackers, Petty ? or at least,a mini fire extingisher in yer sporran ?

Under crackers are illegal under Scotshobbit law except for lassies.
And quite right to- disgusting foreign habit.

Sadly there is no way to guard against spontaneous buckie combustion- but on the plus side if a male Scotshobbit actually makes it to old age they tend to last a long time as after decades of buckie, smoking and deep fried food theres not a lot left that can actually kill you.

I think we accidentally boiled Petty a while back, in the fairly early pages of the Fjordlandia viking bar & kaffistove or whatever it was called again.... Worth a look, perhaps, to learn from previous events. The kilt shrunk... Wool, you know... Oh.. I got a bit queasy. I'll be fine. Just give me a minute. Or two.

You know this is the problem with a kilt, lassies minds get possessed with them and they are always trying to find ways to remove it- burning it off, shrinking it off, firing me up in a geyser! Its obviously just too sexy an item of clothing

Yeah- although I believe Eldo has nominated 'a picnic' as the theme this year (last years theme was to give a version of events of the day the Dark Planet came and took the old forum).

Could pirate at a picninc- or have a picnic on the high seas, or on an island, or inside a whale.

I didnt understand a word of that- I cant speak pirate. Was it something about pieces of eight? (usually is)

You can write about whatever you want, really. The picnic theme is just a suggestion to get people started since Forumshire picnics usually result in something interesting.

I've been busy lately so I might not have my story read for the 11th, but just post whenever you're able.
