Dark Planet

I have joined up with Dark Planet - to see what it's like and be involved.

Obviously, I see myself as a representative of Forumshire (and a unabashed Refugee-of-the-Soul at that).

I posted a couple of Wisey's Channellings (with his permission). The strangest paranoia then besieged me. What if Taz stole them and never gave them back?

So, as a precaution, I've started this thread - to store any posts that I (or any of you) might want to keep safe -- just in case.

FAMILY FRIENDLY POEM

Forumshire is family friendly,
(A beloved place - Eru's Assembly),
And like all folks - and this is true -
We only talk like family do.

Not families so scared of life,
That we hide by day as if it's night,
We see the world with clear eyes,
And seek out truth among the lies.

Oh such family folk we truly are,
We note the pain, both cut and scar,
And if we laugh a bit - oh yikes! -
We only suggest what real life’s like!

That way kids might grow with eyes that see,
With ears that listen (and not just to Me!),
An open heart, a wiser head,
That's what kids need at time of bed.

It is a weird world you and I exist in, Ringdrotten. Ahh... there's no place like home.

My goodness, I took a peek at Dark Planet. What a metropolis it is - but no one talks much to anyone, considering how many folk are residents! Typical cities, cool to cold, even on the best days, even if the folk seem very nice, and very respectable, I give them that! They remind me of that free spirited Winston Smith in a way, but after he was "fitted-to-match" They need to be freed, I think, even if they risk disrespectualization by coming here....

I too popped in for a look... My goodness, Pretty Tyant is such a brave shield maiden on our part!

Ah Wisey. How I have missed you, your Channelings are the perfect accompaniement to a buckie or ten. Forget your women troubles, you will always have the Channeling whatever bit of skirt comes or goes. And always an appreciative audience.

There are some who think you guys are cracked, but I must say it was like you had visited Dark Planet with me and saw with your eyes and listened with your ears. As I said, it's nice to go out into the hard and humourless world, but one can only do so if one knows he can return again to hearth, home and good friends (however cracked).

So long as people remain respectable, what does it matter if some are a little cracked?

No buckie, no newspapers, no nightclubs (according to Pretty) no sense of humour and a plentiful lack of wit- sounds dangerous to me.

As to being cracked Ringdrotten, some folk round here may indeed be so, but I can assure you we Tyrants are perfectly sane (on the buckie scale of sanity where 0 is the base line -pink elephant spotting. I'm merely a -10, or so..)

You'll probably be in luck with Pretty, Mirabella, its just the sort of thing she would do just to annoy me. But don't expect it to last she'll you dump you as soon as she thinks you are no longer a match for her handbag or something.
