No matter what you did to GT, and how good your edit, I would still hate that bit, I hate the look of the place, its a bit that I would fast forward anyway, the bit I saw of the original that really rankled was Rivendell and I got to see that greatly improved version so I am content.
btw think I am heading for a banning over at you know where. theres a mod there who thinks she's it, shes a right snotty cow, she was itching to ban me and I just gave her ammo. silly me.

I felt the same way about Goblin Town. To me it seemed neither scary nor whimsical. Just irritatingly stupid.
In the early edit I saw, Petty took most of it out, leaving just enough to follow Bilbo's story and get the dwarves out of trouble. It made the Riddles in the Dark stand out all the more (I loved that scene!). I'm eager to see what the new edit looks like.

That was pretty good "the 8mile/hobbit" vid ! On a side note...in the future will The Hobbit get the Baz Luhrmann treatment ? Romeo & Juliet has been re-done in so many versions, in fact, the majority of Shakespeares works have !!

Id be the 12mins between Bree and Ford of Bruinene and then up to Moria tonight (just over 1 hour added together)- but folks would need to be here for when they upload or its not worth it.
So anyone up fo rit? And if so whats the best time for folks?
Norc? Halfy? Azriel? Eldo? Lance? Please let me know what is the most convient general time and I will try to accomodate it.

My edits of (in this case FotR from Bree to Moria), you know the thing this thread is FOR!
When I upload it tere is usually only an hour or two before it gets pulled= so people have to be online ready to watch for when its uploaded.
As it takes about 3-4 hours to be uploaded and ready to watch I am trying to time it so as to be best suited for the most people.
