I watched it Petty ! & I enjoyed it a whole lot better, Nice not to have the headache I got in the cinema when I watched it there ! Glad that you bumped all the nasty irritations that got me so riled up ! Good bye Azog ! That did p*** me off, the stand off between he & thorin ! Goodbye also "white Council", that could have been played out differently. Goodbye Benny Hill chase scene as well ! Again, easy to follow, flowed well, stuck to the book as best as possible, Looking forward to the continuation !

Thanks Azriel- glad you liked it- for me the tale just needs to stick with Bilbo and its not too bad an adaptation in many places, all the other 'stuff' just confuses and muddies the central story and takes the focus off Bilbo.

- love your edit of the WC, Saruman remains dignified and not the moaning minnie PJ made him. I also like the Stone Giant edits too, the excesses taken out. and the edit of the fall into Goblin Town much much better, the fall seems quite possible and not thousands of feet up. fantastic

I watched up to the bit where they get captured by the Goblins. I have to get up early Tomorrow and its past midnight here, so I will continue tomorrow. its so smooth and pleasant to watch, I wish I had seen this version at the cinema I really do.

I've never left. I only peek in on the internet occasionally through my telephone line which can't handle more than the slowest drip of video, or even too many pictures at once. (Haven't been able to view Petty's last round of Tales from Home pics yet for example.)
And no, i don't own a mobile phone.
And yes, my main phone actually has a rotary dial.
And the mailman drives down our road and puts the mail in the tin box on the post 6 days a week. What's wrong with that?
