And I am here on the red carpet to meet and greet the celebs as they sashy, stroll, and in Petty's case, roll up to the awards ceremony.

Who will be tonight lucky winners, unlucky losers an even luckier ones wh o get to tak eme home?

We shall see.

And yes, I think I can see the first of the arrivals making their way up the red carpet now. I do believe that is, yes its Forumshires very own Mayor and her boisterous daughter Squach!

-sniff-sniff- can anyone smell herring? Ah the Fjordians ship has docked.
And who is first up the red carpet? Why its only Forumshires defence force, the ever handsome, ever fishy Ringdrotten with Ambassador Amarie wearing one of my old cast-offs I believe (obviously it looked better on me, but we have to be kind, she is a politician).



Ringdrotten- how do you feel about your chances for Most Repected this year?

"Well obviously I have been away a lot this year defending Forumshires border from trolls, orcs and cold callers but I am confident that the good people of Forumshire will respect that and act accordingly. If they dont I am trained to kill you know."

And Ambassador, how do you feel about even beng present as such events as this which would of course be illegal on the Dark Planet due their complete lack of style?

"I think my presence here speaks volumes for the wa in which the Dark PLanet is reaching out to others, I am certainly not here to monitor events, gather information and prepare secret dossiers on everyone."

Is this a sign of confidence you will be leaving with a hat full of awards. And you seem to be so keen on one another you have each gnawed off a leg from the other. Will you be able to make it through the ceremony do you think without devuring each other completly. And lastly what do you really think your chances of leaving with Cumberbum on your arm whilst I am here?

I notice you have a lady friend with you who seems ot be neither of your wives. Would you care to explain or offer a hefty bribe for me not to transmit this bit?

"How dare you blacken the Banks name and risk upsetting my dear darling wives who are watching in our hole on the palantir and preparing my jelly. This is merely my secretary and she is only here to make sure I take my medicine at regular intervals."

And a quick dash back to the red carpet as the lightening begins to flash- yes I thought so- its Azriel- making her debut and breaking her Awards virginity (not for the first time I bet) .



But she does look splendid, sporting wings which look like they could make a Scotshobbit very crabbit trying to photoshop in a rush, especially the way they then just blend into the background. Yes I think thats my favourite outfit of the evening ladies and gentlehobbits, if ony for the swearing I can hear from out here.

I seem to have got stuck in a bin outside and taken home by the police. Apologies, I will try and catch up with you pending bail.... time to phone home again.

And yes, finally, its the person without whom there is no Forumshire. The hobbit with the biggest tower in the land. Its the one and the only- Admin Eldo.



There will now follow a short five minute intermission whilst we try to prise Petty out of his barrel- he gets a bit nervous before big events and climbs into a buckie bottle- last year it took two horses and 106 jars of Mrs Figg finest eel oil to get him back out.
