Re: Nora's Birthday Surprise
I'm glad you guys like flirty!Ringo. Do you think he's out of character compared to how the character was previously written though? I wanted to have more comedy in this series but characterization is more important, of course. I haven't written these characters in a while but I hope they still make sense.

azriel wrote:Well,Ive just read it & I think its brilliant!, it flows smoothly, the dialogue is believable, the scenes are visually set in my mind & I feel like a "fly on the wall" looking in. Looking forward to reading the rest, Im itching to find out who the "dark" stranger is !, well done !
Thanks, Azriel! I've been trying to get better and writing stories for here has been great practice. The identity of the stranger will be revealed soon.
Re: Nora's Birthday Surprise
Ringo is totally in character, at least of what I remembered, we're just seeing another side to him. I mean, here they are actually acting like friends, and not people thrown together because of bad times, and that gives it a good change. I always knew Ringo had that humour inside him (being all acceptive of all sorts, or how was it you put it in the first story?), haven't you seen they way I draw him, always this cheeky smile ladie's (and boys?) man, flirty Rino and calm but smart ass Eldo
Re: Nora's Birthday Surprise
What!!?? Me off on the borders of Forumshire keeping you bucolic ridiculous citizens safe day and night.... and Norc decides to go and have a bloody Birthday while I'm too busy to raise a 'Hallooo' or even scratch myself! How rude, Norc! Rude! Rude! Rude! Very very, very rude!
{{Happy birthday btw! }}}

Thanks for the feedback. I'm glad that you like how the characters are going.
A quick update: I've been busy with school stuff as finals are fast approaching, but I got a lot of stuff done in the past two days so tomorrow is relatively open. Barring any unforeseen distractions, part two should be ready and posted sometime tomorrow (Saturday).

I'll look forward to it! I'd love to hear what you think of it whenever you have the time to read it.

Over writing more of this story? Are you sure you have your priorities the right way round Eldo?

Re: Nora's Birthday Surprise
I'de say Eldo has his priorities sorted out just fine. Me, on the other hand, not so much LOL.anyways...
I worked in a cafè sort of thing today and at the end of the day, when poeple started to disappear I got very bored. So I made some sketchy illustrastions you can look forward to. Limited tools makes creative shit
and, I keep trying to draw Mrs. Figg in this univers, but I can never get it quite right. Maybe it is because she already has this splendid avatar and her image is already set up, I don't know.

I guess I'll take that as a compliment...?

I'd love to see any more artwork you've made! Your versions of Eldo, Ringo, and Nora are increasingly the ones I visualize when writing. For Amarie and Mrs Figg I often imagine their avatars.
Re: Nora's Birthday Surprise
haha, yeah me too.. that's maybe why I find them so hard to illustrate so, anyways, it's acutally saturday evening no now, how is it going?
Re: Nora's Birthday Surprise
It's still Saturday afternoon here. The next update should be posted later today (my time).
Re: Nora's Birthday Surprise
I echo Orwell's sentiments completely, and will try to get back to this. I mean, somebody's got to keep on eye on these younger hobbits, or they keep stumbling into risky circumstances like birthdays without any warning at all.

Re: Nora's Birthday Surprise
So, what have we here, Eldo???
(1) A gorgeous Fjordianlandian Professional, simply begging for a bit of Manly attention of the physical kind (the pheremones surely shimmy and step the jitterbug!)
(2) Two dapper young policehobbits clearly wanting more from their friendship.
(3) Mrs Figg's disgusting floor.
This is exactly the kind of story Odo would ban from Forumshire if he could (and he wasn't - apparently - a prisoner in Dul Guldur).
Abominable, Eldo - ABOMINABLE!
I look forward to seeing more of it, if only to make some more Moral Judgments on it, and not because I'm enjoying it very much! No way!
