Re: Star Wars
That's a good one too.
I just wish Williams had been able to continue working on the Harry Potter series as well though. Some of his best work ever was for those first three films, especially "Hedwig's Theme" from PS/SS (the one from the main titles in each film) and "A Window to the Past" in POA, which I absolutely adore.

Re: Star Wars
No, watch the theatrical cut first, then the director's cut. Skip the special edition.

Re: Star Wars
Yeah skip[the special edition- but not sure its worth the theatrical if your going to watch directors- its the same thing but with more character moments and development.

I have not seen Close Encounters, but everything I've heard about it (which is not that much) sounds intriguing. I'm glad that I don't know much about the plot or anything.

Re: Star Wars
Star Wars Episode VIII is moving back to the late May release window (which they never should have abandoned for the flagship films ), and the first spin-off film will be called Rogue One and open in December 2016.

Re: Star Wars
Star Wars films are definitely summer movies. Although, I hope they don't push Episode VII back to next summer as well.

I did, it's a teaser.
I liked it, I'm tempted to go off and board the
But I can't help but worry it's going to rely too much on nostaglia than telling it's own story...

Top-notch trailer. Whether the movie follows suit remains to be seen, but that was pretty fucking awesome either way.

Re: Star Wars
Does it give away anything in terms of plot? I do not want to be familiar with the plot. Already read somethings online that, although I wasn't sure if they were real, I wish I hadn't read.

Not exactly...it's only a few shots, but there are certain things/references you see that could be easily be big spoilers. I have been following some of the rumours (some of which are true) so I'm not entirely sure If I would set alarm bells ringing or not if I said anymore, it's up to you, but I'd give it a miss if you want to be surprised.

Re: Star Wars
I haven't been following the plot rumors and I don't feel I know anything new about the story of the film. It shows a couple Original Trilogy characters returning but that was already known from the earliest announcement of the project.
