Thought would be good for people to post their photographs they are proud of taking. Obviously rules here are that the photo MUST have been taken by you and not just googled. I think we should steer clear of certain things posted on other forums (especially those titled jailbait).

I have a few to put on, but not on my home computer so will have to wait until later. In the mean time, feel free to post you own skylines, landscapes, animals, plants and anything else you like.

I have a dog thread to post picture of my dog, I have a LOTR landscape or/and similar and other beautiful landscape-thread for my landscape pictures, a tales of home thread for my bragging pictures and a forumshire art gallery for my drawings, and the needleholemysteries for my fan-art. I'm good.

Fair enough Norc. If you find any other subjects that you dont already have a thread for, then feel free to make use. I didnt know there were so many others out there already.

BTW - why do you have a picutre of my arse on your Avatar?

Azriel - you will need to upload them somewhere. I use photobucket to host my pictures. Not sure if you can link from Facebook or anything like that if you use it.

When I put my ones on, I'll show you exactly what I did so you can do the same for yours.

A quick test anim I just finished- well I say quick, its quick as in its only 9 seconds long but it took 8 hours to render! Shocked

Thats a test for part of it- working on some stuff do with light at the moment you see, but god rays = longer rendering as I have to increase the sample rates of the atmosphere and clouds to stop it going all grainy- Im running tests to try to find the optimum between quality of image and render time. Which is what that vid is.

And yeah 1 sec per hour is not good but then there are 24 images rendered for every second. And 24 images rendered in an hour is actualy not bad at all.

Slowly but yes- I decided to reuse the original landscape as it saves a
lot of time- although Ive added Daves Farm and Mrs Figgs Eel Emporium.
I'm currently working on Fjordianland as well as um muxcking about with
other stuff for fun and practice.

In case anyones forgotten- here's the original-

Do you mean on the 8 sec one? If so maybe- thats 'The Impossible Astronaut' from the Doctor Who series 6 soundtrack.
I havent really thought as far ahead as music choice.

I had nearly forgotten the Forumshire video, cant wait to see it, and Daves carrot farm.

btw talking about this kind of stuff, I have a daft question for all you technogeeks, how does one, if one is crap with photoshop, take an object or figure and plonk it in another background? does one use one of those weird squiggly icon things that makes a squiggly line round the object? oh gawdhelpme.
