Petty's Purist LotR Edits

Not a huge deal really no- its mainly focused on Boromir, Aragorn, everyone shouting and a crummy 'make a fellowship' bit at the end. Actual content is shockingly absent.

Of course I am right Ringdrotten {{{{just Orwells befuddled brain, its only semi-trained you know.}}}} how could I be wrong after spending so many horrible hours staring at the damn thing. And doesn't Orwell realize if the entire Ring verse was in there I'd not have had to go to a radio play version to find it!

Elrond scenes in FotR- standing grinning next to Frodo's bed. Talking to Gandalf about how useless men are. The Council. Talking to Aragorn at the grave. Seeing off the Fellowship.
NO ring verse!!

Well, I think I'll boil myself another cup of tea and read chapter two of Paul's parody before I go to sleep. It really is very good, definitely worth reading

I haven't had the time yet to read more than the first few paragrahs- but the fact I still chuckled from so little is a very good sign as parody is not normally my thing. Sadly at the moment I am working on a certain members song video, stuff for the picnic and some artwork thats rendering and I have writing of my own I have sadly neglected this last week! Never enough time!

Actually, I haven't had sugar in my tea for a few years now! Now, don't mistake me for some health freak - it's because of laziness It came to the point when I just didn't bother crossing the room for the sugar anymore, and after that I've learned to enjoy my tea without it A biscuit or two sounds good, though

Either that is very lazy- or you have really big rooms in Norway.

I can't find my un-Extended Version (so it must be there - perhaps???) but I'm watching my Extended Version. I'll find it - even if I have to abduct Hugo Weaving and film it myself!

Trust me Orwell- its not there- I should know- I've spent hundreds of hours editing those films. Don't punish yourself by watching PJ's cut- watch the megaedit instead!!

Very lazy The room isn't that big, but stretching after the sugar, then finding a spoon for it, moving the sugar from A to B (container to cup), stirring, replacing the sugar - I get sweaty just thinking about it Besides, Earl Grey tastes just as good without the sugar

Ooooh Earl Grey. Very posh. Proper tea. Stuff I'm drinking comes in a teabag, is so cheap it has to be getting picked by either slaves or trained monkeys and if you're lucky, after half an hour, it turns the water a slight browny colour.

It's the Twinings variety, and it comes in tea bags at a very affordable price The taste is still great, though

I must try some. I find tea in the stomach soaks up the excess buckie just nicely whilst providing a solid foundation of tannen for all the buckie to come.

Well you have to be health concious these days. Can't just go swigging buckie without taking the proper measures first (and having irn-bru for the hangover).

I've been looking for irn-bru ever since you mentioned it back on the old forum, but I've never found it! It says on wikipedia.no that it's available in some grocery stores. Why can't they just say which ones?

That's a generous offer, but I couldn't accept it - shipping costs these days I'll just have to renew my search! I'm moving to Oslo in a couple of weeks, maybe I'll get lucky there
