Geez, never heard of a sprinkler system? Or did that fail?

It is literally unbelievable. its one of, if not the only, British Art Nouveau building in the UK. its a tragedy for mankind. my brain doesn't compute the enormity of this loss. it must be criminal arson, surely? its been sitting there ok since 1909, so why now? twice!!!! No fuqsake.

He was one of the good ones. I have hope for the likes of Cory Booker to step up, but we have nobody else of McCain's stature at this time.

Sad

I've always thought of John McCain and John Glenn as senators out of the same mold on opposite sides of the political aisle. With people like that in charge back then, things often used to get done for the greater good of the Nation(not just for the personal good of the party elites and their favorite donors Mad )

Sadly they don't seem to make 'em like that anymore Sad

As in other years too many well known & well loved people have passed on. Christmas always makes us notice it more because I guess we think they should be here enjoying it.

{{ RIP Stephen Moore, who has died aged 81. A character actor but who will be most fondly remembered as the voice of Marvin in Hitchhikers Guide, the definitive Marvin, the Marvin I hear in my head when I read the book and when I wrote my screenplay version.
This seemed an appropriate Marvin clip as a farewell. }}
