Havent been able to find it at the mo- the BBC are pretty strict on pulling their stuff- that link to 11th hour will probably be gone in a week. Usually another one turns up anyway but so far not with Sherlock- they must have their best net hounds on it tracking any down.

Doctor Who - Page 34 Empty Re: Doctor Who

Post by Pettytyrant101 Tue Jan 17, 2012 6:33 pm

2011 iplayer stats are out.

'Doctor Who finished as the 7th most accessed programme on the BBC iPlayer for December 2011 and the 5th most accessed programme in Christmas Week, according to figures released by the BBC.
The BBC iPlayer hit record levels in 2011, with 1.94 billion requests across all platforms during the year. Doctor Who: The Impossible Astronaut finished as the 3rd most requested programme of the year. Top of the list was Episode 1 of the David Attenborough Natural History series Frozen Planet, To the Ends of the Earth. Second was Episode 2 of the comedy series Come Fly With Me.
Each episode of Season 32 of Doctor Who finished in the top 50 for the year, with Torchwood: Miracle Day Episode One just scraping in at number 50.
As a brand Doctor Who had over 25 million requests during the year. The top brand was EastEnders with 114 million requests, albeit spread over many more episodes. Top Gear had 29.6 million requests and The Chris Moyles Show had 26.3 million requests.
The first Matt Smith episode, The Eleventh Hour, remains as the most accessed programme ever on iPlayer.'- BBC

Looking good for Who don't fancy Torchwoods chances much though.

Watched the last episode of the Ecclestone Doctor. Silly to say the least. (Tennant looked cheerful though). My daughter breezed past and said that nothing about Dr Who was any good - the smartarse (I don't now where she gets it from! Rolling Eyes ) At that particular moment, I could see where she was coming from though. A bit over-melodramatic, what?

lol- wait till you see Tennants last episode then!!

I'd recommend giving the 11th hour ago- link at top of page- its a lot more fun and I think has ideas about fairytale and youth that you may like underlying it.

I'll think about it. Actually, I should watch the latest Dr Who guy from the start. Saw much of the previous two series (with Eccky and Tenny). Dr Who is so hit-and-miss. Suspect Sometimes I ask, "Can I be bothered?" I never get an answer - and usually pick up my guitar...
