I think you must mean Sally Sparrow- Miss Swallow was in a whole different set of entertainment!
As far as we know Miss Sparrow runs an independant dvd rental store- or did given the current economic climate and the way big chains have killed independent retailers I suspect she's a drunk by now living on the streets doing favours for buckie. (The actress who played her however is doing rather well).

An easy mistake to make all things considered (one of them being you clearly have the mind of a sewer! Wink Have you met Orwell?)

Was talking to my little brother (who obviously i have made sure is a dedicate Whovian) about the prospect of the film. And pointed out it was a co production with an AMerican studio, so it could be an American Doctor and the Tardis would probably become a flashy spaceship. TO which he responded, and I quote; 'with the words ''In god we trust'' where 'Police box' should be'.

Damn near wet myself (but that's just the buckie).

Miss Swallow? Was that the one I met in Lamplight Street? Or was it the one in Red Light Lane? Or the one in Velvet Cul de Sac? Or the one in... err... I've met a few... One of them, I seem to remember, was in a phone box. One of those old fashioned ones. I found I had grown a lot bigger once inside with that Miss Swallow than I was before I went in... Err.... Perhaps this is not the place for such reminiscences... Embarassed

As to to the state of my mind, Petty, I surely have no idea what you refer to. Mind in the sewer - what? Shrugging

At last check the Doctor's clothes, which he generously put up for auction for Children in Need (see trailer above) were going for £22,100, but still time to rise more.

erm Mr tyrant you all have probably said all this stuff before, but why does the Doctor keep getting younger every time he regenerates? will we end up with toddler Doctor? and why is it that he's getting ever younger and Captain Jack is getting ever older (ie face Of Bo)' and who is everyones fav Doctor and assistant, mine is Rose and Northern Doctor, the one before McDoctor.

The short answer is he isn't getting younger!
Here's the ages of the actors whe they took on the role;

William Hartnell 55
Patrick Troughton 46
Jon Pertwee 50
Tom Baker 40
Peter Davison 29
Colin Baker 40
Sylvester McCoy 44
Paul McGann 36
Chris Eccleston 41
David Tennant 34
Matt Smith 27

So there you have it, sometimes he regenrates lookig older, sometimes younger.

My favourite Doctor- tricky this one, its a close thing between Tom Baker and Matt Smith with Patrick Troughton running a very close third place.

Companions- I am a huge Amy/Rory fan. Never cared much for Rose or Martha. Classic Who- Sarah Jane, Jamie, Harry Sullivan and Ian Chesterton.

I haven't had the chance to see the new Doctor after McTennant Doctor because BBC Prime was axed and we dont get anything on Sky from Hingerland now. whats this new Doctor like? can I see any episodes on youtube or summat? I really want to see them all from the beginning of the regeneration onwards. I loved Rose she was sassy.

Well if you thought Rose was sassy you're going to love Amy Pond. Very Happy
If you go back a page Tin provided a lin k to where she has been getting her episodes.
Series 5 (Matt Smiths debut as Doctor) starts with 'The Eleventh Hour'. As to what he is like- he's the best Doctor for me since Tom Baker and easily the best since the reboot.

Or try here- although how long this remains up is anyones guess.

No, I had a look at the link but that was all, no problems. But Mrs Tiggs seems to have had some sort of problem, required a decontamiantion of her pc! But you know what they say "Strange as news from Bree, and the folks stranger."
Perhaps she will say what the problem was and lay the blame squarely where it desreves to fall- which is not on me! Evil or Very Mad I gave her a pefectly good and safe link to 11th hour, above.

Sometimes (I used to find this a lot with Norton which I uninstalled those money grabbing peeps, always asking for something) security toolbars which add themsleves to the internet browser, have a go at anything remotly suspicious and command you to scan your system. Normally just a few tracking cookies, occasionally with a few bits of adware thrown in for good measure. Still, better safe than sorry- and there are definitely some dodgy sites out there for sure!

Glad to see you've covered your back though Petty! Always good to have a disclaimer- just incase! Very Happy

I refuse to be blamed for this! Especially if it turns out to be in any way my fault!
Seems Mrs Tiggs does indeed have Norton- I blame it- I bumpe into her over in Bree and she says;

'Hey one of your fellow Shire folk said Norton caused him probs, well guess what I have Norton, I followed that link from Tin, and me compuder went bonkers, and shouted thief thief! and such like. But now my, at, button doesnt work so I cant email, and I have forgotton my password, for the Shire so I cant reset the password cos me button dont work, woe is me. '

None of which is much good. I suggested doing a online virus/malware scan to see if anything shows up- but anyone got any other suggestions?
In the meantime until we determine what caused it I'd suggest not using the link Tin posted, however she seems to have had no problems so it might just all be a horrible coincidence.

Try the Eset online scan- its free and will at least tell you if its a virus or such.

http://www.eset.co.uk/Antivirus-Utilities/Online-Scanner

And um, sorry about this if it was the link I directed to you. However the dailymotion link for watching the 11th hour is absolutely safe. So you can at least still enjoy Matt Smith as the Doctor and meet Amy and Rory. Very Happy

It could just be a horrible coincidence Tin. My software is pretty good at warning me off and it didn't flag the link as a problem when I tested it. And if your pc is unprotected and you have suffered no ill effects then it might not be the site after all. Shrugging

Stick to the daily motion link I gave Mrs Figgs- its 100% safe and you don't download anything you just watch -its same as youtube only a bit looser about the law!
