I do have time for the occasional film/series episode, but as I can only watch Doctor Who illegally (right?) it's sort of out of the question since certain sites are no-goes around here Mad

There are episodes posted on dailymotion. Is it allowed? (Techniclly the poster is the one doing the illegal thing). Other than that you'd have to order the dvd's.

Dailymotion is blocked for some odd reason. I'd have to order the DVDs from Britain since Doctor Who is a show unheard of in Norway, and even if the DVDs are fairly priced the customs and shipment make t rather expensive. Perhaps I'll download a couple of seasons the next time I'm home, that could work Wink

I've been watching all of them online! Here's a link to a good website w/ links for all the episodes!
http://watchseries.eu/serie/doctor_who or http://www.iwatchdoctorwho.com/

As to series 6, I have quite a few questions! When was Amy replaced by the flesh/ how did the doctor figure out that was what she was? Also, are the Silence the aliens that you can't remember or are they something else? And how does the doctors death count? only a robot version of him died, not the actual him, can he trick time like that????? I LOVE series 6 though!!!!! Alot better than series 5 in my opinion, and I even like Smith a bit more than Tennant! I love Amy and Rory as companions ----- oh! wait! I remember another question now! So Mel shows up in "let's kill Hitler" and she's a life long friend of Amy and Rory's. If she's a timelord, how is it that she grows up with them? don't they age a lot slower? ---- and I like the writing alot more than Russle T. Davies. Exclamation
And I keep thinking that my head would explode if ever there were to be an episode where the Doctor goes back in time to visit Tolkien and Lewis. It's possible! They did that in the Unicorn and the Wasp (Bad episode, but clever idea!)

Yay Tin! But have you finished series 6 or do you just know the ending cause you watched the last episode first! Mad (I'm trying to avoid spoilers but seems like youve seen it all so if there are spoilers here-sorry)

Spoiler:

Yes Moffat writes much better than Davies doesn't he? And Smith is just amazing as the Doctor. Whilst I had my niggles with Tennant I didn't think he did a bad job, he is a very good actor. But I have to admit to finding it quite hard to watch most of his Doctor Who now, he seems so....ordinary.
I am now holding out for an episode with Tolkien and Lewis- great idea Tin!
I much prefer the family in the Tardis vibe to the lone female pining over the Doctor thing that Davies had going on. It reminds me of classic Who when there were often several companions at any given time.
And besides it gives us episodes like The Girl Who Waited which was just superb and moving.
Favourite episodes Tin? I'd love to know.

Or very bad. I have a very bad feeling about this. Evil or Very Mad What do they mean "It needs quite a radical transformation to take it into the bigger arena" and "Russell T. Davies and then Steven Moffat have done their own transformations, which were fantastic, but we have to put that aside and start from scratch." Evil or Very Mad

" Don't like the sound of any of that. How can you put aside the show the film would be an offshoot of? Last time they did this we ended up with the Peter Cushing films. Please, not again. Nor am I sure what the point would be. We have an excellent tv show and it does film length specials regularly. If its just for shiny effects its not worth doing.

I reckon Craig will come back and make it a trilogy of episodes with him and the Doc. I hope so anyway.
Girl Who Waited and the Doctors Wife are definetly two of my favourites from 6, Amy's Choice and the final two parter are favs from series 5. Bu in truth so many favourites from this era of Who, I'm spoilt for choice. Very Happy

David Yates? Seriously? If his work on Harry Potter is any indication he fluctuates between decent and mediocre. Razz Granted, he showed improvement with the final two films, but I can't say I've been terribly impressed by him.

Hopefully they won't ruin Doctor Who though. IMO stuff like this never ends well. Dearly hope I'm wrong though.
