Hey guys. We got back from upstate New York today after another long drive. Skiing was a lot of fun, though unfortunately we were in NY in the middle of a warm spell (by Adirondack winter standards) so the slopes had a bit of that icy/slushy mix you see during warm days alternating with cold nights. It was nice to get to catch up with some family who I haven't seen in a while though and also just hang out. We ended up having zero Internet but that's not always a bad thing (I can't believe I just typed that ).

It's late now though and I'm tired so I'm about to turn in for the night. I'm looking forward to catching up with everyone and reading up on the threads I missed over the next few days though. I'm glad to see the forum is still in one piece.

Glad you're in one piece. Sadly though, the forum's faith doesn't fall on you being gone for a couple of days even though you might like it that way

too bad about the snow though

I'm packing my rucksack for another adventure.
I'll probably be away from the palantir for a week or more.

hi.. i am off to Berlin on monday and I'll be home around friday, but too much school so i might disappear for longer than that. I'll bring my computer, though I doubt I'll use it (expect for emptying the camera).. so yeah.. if i disappear, that's why.

Well good news for me is I have a phone line again and today my router arrived!

Bad news is for reasons best known to plusnet my broadband doesnt come on until Thursday. (and I notice in the small print it says- up till midnight on Thursday )

My own will be up and running some time this week so they reliably tell me, and its with plusnet and unlimited thank Eru.

I'm glad you'll be back soon, Petty. However, I'll be leaving just a day later (Friday) for a family vacation since my brother and I have coinciding spring breaks this year. I'll be in Virginia and South Carolina for about a week.
