mhm.. i might cut something away..... there was a bit of grieg and shit.. or i might do it all over again.. i had just looked at the sheet music there and then, like... looked at for like five minutes before i started recording so the rythm is fucked at some places and i clearly don't play pauses
anyways... i am going to bed before i do something i'll regret lol..

Problem with the song is - like each book of A Song of Ice and Fire - it's very very good but a little too long.

Well, you've certainly intrigued me. Let me know what you decide to do.
I love the fact that what you do when bored at one in the morning is to find some sheet music and record some violin, by the way.
Really, I think boredom can be a real gift to a creative person. And I don't think you should be self conscious, you have no reason to.
That might not be the best advice for everyone, but for someone creative I think it can be quite important.

Yeah, perfect can be a bit boring though.
So can we expect something or?

Wait for it...I have never seen nor read ASOIAF or Game of Thrones, nor do I have any plans to till after the last season/book is released.
I can't stand waiting for the end of a story, and I hardly watch TV.

I get what you're talking about, malick - I'm well on my way through the 3rd book now, and I'm already dreading the wait that's bound to come when I've finished reading the fifth.

Re: A Song of Ice and Fire
That was my attitude as well, but I was coerced into watching it by a friend and I liked what I saw, though I haven't finished. I think the series may take a different route from the books and finish sooner at Martin's current pace.malickfan wrote:Wait for it...I have never seen nor read ASOIAF or Game of Thrones, nor do I have any plans to till after the last season/book is released.

Re: A Song of Ice and Fire
Watching some of these interviews with GRRM has really lifted my opinion of it. He comes across very well relfected and insightfull. Not that he's one of those grreat talkers who can just roll of anecdote after anecdote, but he's a genuinely interesting man.

15 minute warm up video for the new series. (Some series 4 footage, I don't know.)

Re: A Song of Ice and Fire
Yeah, Sean Bean is great.
I do like that we have pretty much kept this thread going since Januray, without ever really talking to eachother.
Damn, I ruined it.

Re: A Song of Ice and Fire
I love that GIF so much.
Joffrey is really one of the most despicable characters ever created. Kudos to the actor who played him (although it's retroactively ruined part of Batman Begins for me ).
