I only peeked at words not visuals. so I know who gets it, but not how, or how the doom came to pass.

Yes.
Though not even appreciating good music. Having it coming might be an understatement.
But... wait... aren't you about 10 months ahead of scheduel on this?

I agree we could have squeezed a bit more yuck out of Joffrey before he went. damitt its too soon! We need a thoroughly horrible person in the show to Boo at, whos going to be the next big villain I wonder? Maybe Theon's tormentor or maybe the cannibal guy? idk
- Spoiler:
- Don't worry, Figg. He continues to causes more than enough trouble even while dead.
As for bad guys, I don't think the series are at a loss for them.

Re: A Song of Ice and Fire
This is what George had to say about what happens in that episode.
- Spoiler:
- The Red Wedding was the hardest thing I ever wrote. I wrote the entire book, I skipped over the Red Wedding and wrote all the way to the end, and then I came back and did the Red Wedding, because it was just emotionally difficult to do that. I wrote the other wedding where someone else dies and that one was easy and fun to write, because you know, everyone wanted to see that little shit die.

Just finished series 2. I am comparing to the book and don't like that a few bits have changed... like Riverrun seems to not be important whereas in the book it is very important. Also, Robb seems to have directly defied his mother by getting married where in the book they weren't anywhere near each other... He just turned up married.
Also... where has Greatjon gone? He was all loud and Robb's number 1 supporter but seems to have just disappeared.
Why did they make it so that Arya was helped to escape from Harrenhal? She killed someone herself in the book, not had Jaqen do it all for her.
The whole Qarth thing is different. What is going on with Jon is all different.
I don't really understand why they have redone stuff... There doesn't seem to be any reason for it.

I am on page 286 of Feast for Crows. I imagine I will hit series 4 in about a week so will be well over half way through the book by then I should think.

But apart from your niggles do you like it or not?
I think the Arya thing was changed to give her a longer and more satisfying character arc. You need to wait until you watch episode 1 of season 4 to get what I mean. If they made her a killer that early at Harrenhal it takes a great deal away from the Revenge she takes later on her journey. The Red Wedding is the beginning of Aryas transformation from victim into slayer. In Harrenhal she is defo still a victim of circumstance. So too early and it takes the oomph out of the gut punch later. Trust me they made the right choice to have Jaqen do the dirty for her.
