Nope, just mozilla firefox nothing else. And I never ever go incognito, sounds foreign and possibly suspicious- I'm not Swedish you know!

That might be it.

Maybe you just didn't log out last time? My browser will leave me logged in for days at a time unless I change preferences. It's a cookie thing.

Maybe thats it Halfy- although it seems to have stopped happening again.

easy to check. If it happens again you can remove the forumotion.net cookie and you shouldn't be logged on any more.

It nearly slipped my mind entirely, but today is the third anniversary of the founding of the new forum. A historical thread like this seemed an appropriate one to bump for this announcement.

Perhaps this is fitting place for a thought that came to me a while back, Leelee mentioned something... um...*googles it* "I can't think of this place as a refugee camp". And I thought to myself that you lads and ladies were refugees at PT, but this is home.

It certainly took a little while to feel comfortable here, and I think we all missed the old forum at first, but it's certainly become a comfy little home. That was why I never wanted to use the word "refugees" in the name of the forum, although I had used it in the name of the page on my blog where we initially gathered. I wanted to build something longer-lasting, something that would hopefully improve on what we'd had before Dark Planet Day. Hopefully we succeeded.

I was off doing something during the whole Dark Planet Day phase, not unlike decamping to Canada during the Vietnam war to escape the draft.

Which means I've been with the Forum more than 3 years!    Frightnening how little I've managed to accomplish during that time.

I felt comfortable the minute you built the new house, Eldo. I don't miss the old Forum that much really, because we have come to a better place. Remember, the old forum still did have rules --- written ones, not unwritten rules. Yes yes we have some written rules in Forumshire which were lovingly and thoughtfully put together by you Eldo, but no one cares. We love you and not your carefully selected lovingly thoughtful rules, and that says everything any one needs to know about Forumshire.   Anyway, enough of that, I'm starting to feel unrespectably homo-erotic, and no respectable Ozhobbit likes that kind of feeling (publicly)... except Peter Allen of course.....

Well, my forum membership was only the glint in the coalmans eye at the time, and I know little of the old forum.

But you've certainly succeded in creating a comfertable little place, Eldo.

Just a query because Im curious, sometimes, but not always if I come onto the forum and Im not signed in and then sign in, recent post times jump by an hour- just wondering why.
