Re: Future releases
Between that one and Joss Whedon's Much Ado About Nothing- looks like a good year for Shakespeare in the cinema. Not bad after what 500 odd years?

Re: Future releases
Joss Whedon is doing Shakespeare? That will be interesting.
I do want to see the new version of Great Gatsby. Though I rather dislike the book.

Re: Future releases
He's such a master of modern colloquilism, I think I suspect his take on shakespeare is to make it sound as modern as possible, as only he (or Branagh as an actor) can do. Note not a single recognizable actor. I salute that.

Re: Future releases
I think I may have mentioned it before- but its shot in his own house after he finished Avengers over a week or so.
Apparently he often invites a bunch of his actor firends round to his place and they read Shakespeare.
Much Ado Abouth Nothing I can see being a good fit. Both Wheddon and Shakespeare are words men. They love a good sentence.
And he obviously has a real passion for the material. Im looking forward to seening it.

Re: Future releases
Eldo- I read your review on your page of The Raid- I havent seen it yet- but well written review. But I cant remember if you said if you had seen Dredd or not? As some people said it was too similar to The Raid.
Just wondering what your thoughts were on that.
Or if you havent seen Dredd are you planning too for a review? (Do you do request reviews?)

I never got around to seeing the original Thor, but it looked interesting and this looks great too, so both of them are going on my to-watch list.

I haven't actually written any reviews for a while, but if people wanted me too I could see about it. I'm really busy for the next week or two with finals but after that my schedule is super clear. I didn't see Dredd, but I heard a lot of really good things about it. Based on the synopsis I read it does sound extremely similar to The Raid, but I suspect that was at least partially coincidence since I imagine the productions of both films overlapped.
Anyway, it's nice to know that someone read and liked my movie review. I'll try to watch Dredd sometime soon for you.

Re: Future releases
I was still reeling from shock that anyone had ready my movie reviews. Like I said at the end of the post, I'll watch and review Dredd for you once finals calm down.

Trust me, finals are not what I want to be doing. My acute case of senioritis has caused me to put off my work too long already, though.
Re: Future releases
i fucking hate school... had a five hour german test today... oh god...and math coming up way too fast! and i gotta write a short story to .. tomorrow night :S
Re: Future releases
plus concerts with Lord of the Strings, so gotta practise. and then there is training on top of all that. when most my schooldays last to four, i don't have much spare time, and when i do, i waste time and energy here.
Re: Future releases
You had a test that lasted five hours? The only test I've ever taken that lasted that long was the SAT (college admissions, basically).

Re: Future releases
yup. five hours test in german, math (all the subjects this year, like an exam) and i think norwegian. last year i had english, norwegian and math. then there are exams, last year i might get pulled out (20% of all first years in the region get pulled for oral exams) so of course me with bad karma came up in geografy. this year everyone is certaon to come up in either one oral or one written, so only one. Oral could be anything, i could come up in physics, chemistry, math, gym(not likely though) geo or german (think that's all) or written math or german.
