Gotta say, most world leaders seem to be doing their best, with humans being placed before the economy while remaining well aware the economy matters. Trump is different on this. Maybe it’s time someone put a bullet in him. Not a fatal one. Say one that puts him in hospital for a month or so. Any head shot should require at least some time in hospital, even if only for infection control....

I have a feeling putting a bullet in Trump could well result in substantial civil unrest which is probably the last thing needed right now.

I do find him to be a vile human being but he is also working with a lot of other vile human beings (Mitch McConnell, Lindsey Graham, Mike Pence chief amoungst them) so even if he did go there would just be some just as repulsive, albeit more competent at being such, in his place.

I could also imagine all of that with the COVID situation being cause for some kind of postponement of elections and the martial law that would come with further civil unrest.

Just got to hope that Biden wins in November and that he doesn't fuck it up so badly that next time 8 years are handed back to the others.

It's true that vile competence is greatly to be feared, but Trump seems to bring out the vileness in others that would otherwise be at least moderated by their more reasonable sides. Lindsey Graham actually was a somewhat decent chap when his buddy John McCain was still around to point out the better angels. Pence would allow himself to be moderated as well. But Trump builds the Us versus Them mentality into a political weapon that politicians find hard to resist. We'd be better off with him gone.

The bloke has blood on his hands IMO. And all these people willing to help the economy are expecting others to make ultimate sacrifices to shore up their own wealth, without personal risk of them making the ultimate sacrifice themselves. It’s disgusting. Brings out the Socialist in me, and I’m not really that much of a Socialist. Wealth is built on the wealth of less well paid others, who are, in a sense, always cannon fodder. Times like this bring out the dark side of capitalism.

I love these rambles. Its nice hearing your thoughts on things. We just cant get away from modern life creeping into what I feel is sacred. You could so utterly lose yourself in those woods until some traffic goes past & snatches your dreams away. The same with where I live. its gorgeous on one hand, woods, streams, trees, wildlife. You could have a David Attenborough moment all day long, even into the night if your brave enough but, just so you remember where you are, a bloody rubbish truck goes by or a stream of cars heading for Sainsburys. There's still just enough old history to get you yearning for the past but, you cant escape todays determination to cater for todays people. I don't want it, I like old things. I like old woods etc. Thank gawd there are societies & groups making sure, or at least putting up a fight, to halt any buggar that wants too big a slice of the cake when it comes to modernisation. Eastbourne has a stonking rich history also & Archaeological groups are still finding many things & can preserve many things. Amongst the hotels & stupid shops & endless holiday wreckers there are little gems where you feel like your in Jurassic Park, even the atmosphere feels 'other worldly' & makes your tummy tingle. I never want to lose that tummy tingle, I certainly wont get it from anything modern. The latest horror is an indoor shopping mall type of thing. We had one before & at least the shops were wanted & used. The council thought what a great idea to spend millions updating it & lets put up market shops in that no one will ever use !! To hell with the hospital, services that people want & need, up dating schools etc lets go all shiny & new !! If I were a lady Id say a rude word ------- but Im not so Bollocks ! its vile.
