2 more weeks and we will find out how this ends!

In 2016 millions of people said they would move to Canada and didn't. Now millions are talking about revolt or succession.... I imagine there will not be much of either.

What I can see is Biden not lasting the full term and Kamala becoming president even though she got kicked out in the primaries quite early on. That is all a bit questionable to me!

There was a period during the campaign where Biden looked quite frail, but that all vanished once it picked up steam and he gained in confidence. Right now I think he'll last through a term, but he wouldn't attempt a second term.

I think physically he may... mentally he looks and sounds like he is losing the plot. Like early stage dementia.

Oh he's always been famous for his gaffes - I think mentally he seems okay now, where back at the beginning of the campaign he was doddering. A bit better than he seemed during the first debate. Definitely not a young man, though.

Trump is already out tweeting against Pence in response-

And his folowers ammased outside are trying to get into the Capitol Buildng, clashing with police. Its unsuprisingly turning ugly. }}

Lawmakers have been told to put on gas masks as police are using tear gas in the Rotunda.
We are also told that Vice President Mike Pence was rushed out of the chamber.- Fox

I'm not seeing any scuffling - it seems the guards are unwilling to turn it into something violent and the protestors are more pushing their way through than breaking and entering. Curious to see how this turns out.

Those on the ground floors will be rounded up probably within an hour, but if any get down below ground it's a regular warren down there. And this won't go away once Trump is gone either - not for another year at least.

Its like something out of a Hollywood film, cant believe what I am seeing. The army seems very slow at rounding up the terrorists and arresting them. The really amazing thing is the dumbasses don't realise photographing themselves in Nancy Pelosi's office is probably sedition or treason. I hope they are brought to justice. What a horrible day compounded by Trump's dangerous idiot press conference. At least Mike pence seems like he is against the coup.

At least they're white or a lot more of them would be dead. I want them locked up, not killed.

To put this in perspective, in 1967 the hippies tried to psychically levitate the Pentagon. But they got a permit for it (10 feet high), but upon arrival some decided that wasn't gonna be enough and broke through the barricades and actually entered the building. Others stayed for the duration of the 48 hour permit but didn't seem to have an effect.

I heard Pence might evoke the 25th amendment and take control, I think he should.

I wonder if they could finally push through a successful impeachment and removal?

With 2 weeks left of this, I dont think impeachment or the 25th will be used. Biden's victory was confirmed last night and I think any further conflict could get out of control.

The dust has settled in the capitol and I think most of the Republican senators did themselves credit by publicly rejecting the Trump narrative. Doubt it will mollify his supporters much. He deserves to be tried for treason, but that will just inflame things. We need him to die of something embarrassing, like an STD or diarrhea.

There are still enough Republicans calling for unrest through a thin veil of decency though. That dickhead Matt Gaetz suggesting it was all Antifa doing the violence (it wouldn't suprise me if they were there too).
