You may want to stake it down. Looks like it could imitate a sail in a strong wind. Trusting to gravity won't cut it.

Its been strong winds & rain where I am. A lot of the UK did suffer flooding & damage, we were lucky here, just the odd fence blown in. Bracing ourselves for Storm Dennis now.
Took my hairy hound out whilst weather was ok & saw this little chap again in the park. Remembered to get him some peanuts this time
And this is Simi sitting in the luggage compartment on the bus coming home

Today the kids at school could dress up as a character from a book.
Sam went as a Hogwarts student (who needs names? Plenty of kids at Hogwarts)
Em was Annabeth Chase (Percy Jackson.)
Mamma-nerd is very pleased.

Re: Tales of Home [9]
Here, they have closed all the schools, universities, libraries and sports gatherings. The streets are deserted and the supermarkets have zero hand-gel.
I have prepped for a month in quarantine, apart from fresh produce.
I have been wearing a mask and those disposable plastic gloves. If it gets bad I will be wearing goggles like that Irish guy in Wuhan. At the moment I am the only one wearing protective gear and most people give me an amused stare. But you cant buy masks either, what are they waiting for before they put them on their snotty faces? Anyone walking round with a cough is avoided like the plague. There is an ordinance from the government to stay 1metre from each other, yeah right, try telling the personal-space invaders that. and no kissing either.
shits getting real.
oh yeah and Italian scientists have figured out the virus was first introduced into Europe at the beginning of January, so it was already circulating for a month before it was identified. The first official case was a guy from Monaco who had been in contact with a work colleague from wuhan.

Re: Tales of Home [9]
Here was my plan I originally posted yesterday somewhere else.
But on further thought, if you get everyone sick at once you lose essential services like medical, food growing and delivery. So my new plan is pretty much what we are doing here: have people be careful to slow down the spread so only a fraction will be infected at once, but DON'T shut everything down. The economy will drop down to something like 70% until everyone's gone through the infection cycle and it's burned itself out.
This is based on the as yet unproven but reasonable assumption that infection and recovery from Corona Virus confers immunity. If everyone who can safely become immune does so, we’re back to normal. Also the assumption that those who are not already ill with something else or old are not in danger of anything more than strong flu symptoms. So here’s my plan:
For one month…
1. All the sick and Elderly put themselves under strict quarantine to avoid what is about to happen. If they become well during this month, they should join in with the below.
2. Everyone else indulge in a massive fluid swap orgy. If you see someone attractive, kiss’em. If you see an alluring subway pole, lick it. Hit every concert and buffet you can find. The idea is for everyone to go through the infection/recovery period as quickly as possible.
I think this suits human predilections far better than a mass quarantine, the extra activity will compensate the business cycle loss from increased illness, and we only need to quarantine about 10% of the population, which is much easier. Once everyone has obtained immunity, the solution is permanent – unlike the world everyone keeps trying to avoid contact for the next year and a half until we have a vaccine then everyone has to go out and get stuck.
I call this genius, and is actually only a small step away from what our government is currently advocating. Much cheaper and faster though.
But on further thought, if you get everyone sick at once you lose essential services like medical, food growing and delivery. So my new plan is pretty much what we are doing here: have people be careful to slow down the spread so only a fraction will be infected at once, but DON'T shut everything down. Re: Tales of Home [9]
The massive flaw in everyone get sick theory is you don't know how bad it is until you get it. I have weak lungs and get bad coughs through normal colds, although apart from that on paper I am healthy and shouldn't get sick enough for tubes sticking out of me. But I don't want to take the risk, either for myself or others around me. Also being sick is a colossal waste of time.
