Re: Merry Christmas - 2017
Thanks for all the advice and well wishes guys
Very early days for this, but I had a fantastic day on Sunday and both of us are keen to meet up again soon, scheduling may prove an issue unfortunately, but such is adult life...

Re: Merry Christmas - 2017
Well we spent about 90 minutes texting each other earlier, so I think it's safe to assume she's either she's very bored tonight or likes me, perhaps both...

What Bungo said. So long as you continue with the plan not to push things too fast things will flow normally.

Yeah, I'm still too perplexed to have found myself in this position after all these years to think about rushing or pushing anything (assuming I could work up the courage that is) best to take things slow, aim and hope for the best but make sure to learn from my mistakes if I make any, rather than diving in at the deep end.

You'll do fine, you have the right attitude. You'll be a better man for it & find life might be an easier road to meander down, rather than shooting thru, side stepping & clinging to the shadowy bushes

Date no2 on Sunday
We've been texting loads and are both on the same page, both slightly perplexed to have found ourselves 'dating' someone at last, both rather insecure/inexperienced...and mutually attracted to each other but we've agreed to take things very very slowly, the main focus now is getting to know each other better and having fun, we can worry about the exact details later

I think I've hit the lucky jackpot here, a beautiful woman with a wonderful personality, every bit as geeky/inexperienced as me, and just as willing to take things slowly (it turns out she was just as confused on where we stood).

Re: Merry Christmas - 2017
Is is a good or bad thing I'm currently watching youtube tutorials on how to kiss someone? never done it before, but I have a feeling it might happen tomorrow and I'm more than a little bit terrified, most people are terrible at it at first regardless, but at age 26 it's even more embarrassing and nerve-wracking

Re: Merry Christmas - 2017
Pretend her lips are candy. You're trying to work the flavor out of her lips. Then she'll respond, things will go weird and you're on your own from that point on. Just don't be passive once it starts.

Oh, and slow build-up is key. You both have to wondering for at least 30 seconds if/when the other one will make the move through those final few inches. Do everything associated (eye-gazing, hair-stroking, etc) except the final motion. It's a game of chicken until one of you just can't stand the tension anymore.

Re: Merry Christmas - 2017
No tongues. They are an acquired taste. washing machine kissers are a no-no. Keep it sweet and short, don't dive in without having one toe on the shore, otherwise its hard to climb out. if you get my drift.

Re: Merry Christmas - 2017
Good point. Tongue should just briefly flicker the lips with the tip at most. Anything more is graduate level and you both have to be committed.

Re: Merry Christmas - 2017
Kissing is one of those things that is simple and straightforward, but the more advice you get about it the more difficult it sounds! I think as long as you don't bump your teeth into hers you're fine.

Re: Merry Christmas - 2017
See? So confusing. What does that mean? Are we supposed to ball up our tongues in one corner of the mouth like we're marshaling for an invasion of Guadalcanal?

That first kiss you really just wanna shove your tongue in her mouth. Assert dominance.

More like nowadays you both need to have a letter of consent drafted, both consult your legal counsel, both sign the document and have it publicly notarized, and then you can kiss. That's just kissing, sex is a little more complicated.

Re: Merry Christmas - 2017
I advise the use of a medicum of tounge, applied with gentleness. Just a soft touch at the end to leave an impression of the kiss.
Just be gentle and explore in a way you both like and are comfortable with, and you really can't make any mistakes.
