I mean, the trailer is boring, but I adore Hugo Weaving! I would say... maybe.
I remember reading the first book in the series when I was 12 or so. I really liked the feel of a world in which mobile cities cannibalize each other: that was the main appeal of it. I think there was some rather lame Soylent Green-type subplot as well, but don't quote me on that.

The look of it is amazing even if the story doesn't hold up. I'd be more tempted to go see it on a big screen than just about any other film.

Strange, because I was thinking that the cities look particularly un-beautiful. They are brown-ish piles of squarish shapes on treads.
