Re: Just...................whatever [7]
After watching "I.Robot" this Christmas I wondered if, in the future when robots more or less run the whole show, will films be even around ? Will robots feel the need to fill the cinema & watch a good Bette Davis film ? Will films be made anymore ?

that dratted movie had almost nothing in common with the book. Asimov does a good job of exploring the relationships between humans and robots.

I haven't read the book Halfy, I left the film on as background 'noise' really. It can get very quiet here sometimes & the ticking of your brain can get loud

Anyway, that iceberg would be no big deal for you Az, just take a little swish-by 'round the top on your broom. Under a full moon it would probably be really beautiful too.

Re: Just...................whatever [7]
Decided to charge up my old digital videocamera and see if it still works, haven't used it in a couple of years but it seems to be working alright, the picture quality isn't fantastic but it has a photo setting as well and I'm half tempted to take a selfie and upload it to the forum, it's been 4 year and you guys still don't know what I look like...
Then again, anonymity does have its charms

Re: Just...................whatever [7]
Well that's one terrible selfie taken, I apparently look older than I thought I did (and balder damn it! ) still in the awkward 'just starting an attempt to grow a beard for the first time' stage so you'll have to forgive my terrible face fungus (and if I have resting bitch face I can only apologise) it may give you guys a laugh at least, now to figure out how/if I can upload it

Re: Just...................whatever [7]
You've certainly teased us enough about not having shared a picture before!
There's a "host an image" button in the toolbar just above the postbox (icon is a photograph with a floppy disc superimposed over the corner), or you can use a third-party service like Imgur.

No, no, no. That's all wrong. If you want to upload an image to the internet just follow what the guy does in this video.

Re: Just...................whatever [7]
Well drumroll please...here I am in all my sexy, tired balding weirdness!
(Again, ignore the terrible beard it's only been three weeks since I started, I could grow sideburns/moustache when I was 14 but have never left the beardy parts for more than a week, thanks to the wonderful combination of a small chin and male pattern baldness I felt it was time to give it a proper go)
Probably going to regret posting this

Re: Just...................whatever [7]
I look like a right miserable sod, glad my hair isn't sticking up too much in that photo (on my right side is where I cracked my head open as a kid, the hairline grew back a bit crooked in the far corner so it tends to stick up a bit).

Re: Just...................whatever [7]
Hey that's more of a beard than I could ever grow. I shave everyday. I've tried growing beards when I was in school and it never really worked out, plus once it got long it became more annoying and itchy than anything. Though, as you all remember from the pics I've posted here, I rock some fucking sexy sideburns.

Re: Just...................whatever [7]
It's good to finally put a face to the name, Malick! You've got way more mustache than me. I can sort of grow a beard, though it's still a bit patchy, but my mustache remains mostly uncooperative.
Re: Just...................whatever [7]
I normally shave about once every four-five days, I use an electric shaver as razors/shaving cream tend to irritate my skin, actually quite surprised how fast it is growing out, I never bothered leaving for this long before but it's filling in quite quickly and makes me look older I think.
The shitty lighting on my camera and how tired I am doesn't do me many favours, but at least you know what I look like now...now do we have a selfie of Figgs anywhere here?
