Re: Holidays and absences [3]
Sounds good....if I'm still in NYC then.

Re: Holidays and absences [3]
We'll see. I've got one pan in the fire here that may or may not boil, and I've started another recently in DC (my old home town; many of my friends are still there). Whichever one becomes soup first (if they ever do) that's where I'll go. I've done NYC now, leaving myself open to other things.

Something UMD-related, by any chance?

Don't have one 'em newfangled phones, I gather. Looks like you have a nice variety of something or other, though!

nah I don't I have one of those oldfangled £8.99 bricks, no camera, no internet but it gets the jobs done, bit of a technophobe.
The bottles are 6 pairs, two vintage mixed variety sweet ciders, two single variety medium dry ciders, a ale and a dark porter, the glass jug is medium-sweet still cider, the plastic cartons are single variety medium sweet cider.
The glass jars are apple chutney, red onion marmalade and strawberry jam.

Re: Holidays and absences [3]
Hrm... Red onion marmalade eh? Not sure about that one.
I've just spent a week on the East Coast for the first time with some of my family. A couple days in New Jersey, and then a drive down through Pennsylvania and Maryland to Virginia, where I spent the rest of the time. I visited family I had never met before, took a couple hikes in Shenandoah National Park and up Crabtree Falls, and spent a few hours touring around monuments and museums in D.C. before I caught my flight home. It was rather chilly, but not too bad.

Re: Holidays and absences [3]
got a feeling you like Cider Malick.
personally I find Cider windy and it gives me acid bum. I'll stick with half a lager and lime and a packet of crisps.

Re: Holidays and absences [3]
Somehow I thought you didn't drink, Figgles. Though half a lager is barely drinking.

Yes I do like cider I think I've got about six of the bottles left...hmm, might have a couple later actually
Funnily enough Lager seems to have the same effect on me, never be too fond of it (Kronenberg and Carlsberg excluded), give me a nice real ale or bitter any day
(I'm not an alcoholic btw! )

One might hope for some frustrated newly-wed housewives - If I land safe and sound at the resort I'll update with some pics. Happy new year everyone

Re: Holidays and absences [3]
I fear they'll all be pics of frustrated new housewives. Might get some scenery in the background.
Actually if we get NO pics of frustrated new housewives I for one will be sorely disappointed.
