Anyway, I just got back from watching episode 6. I liked this episode probably the most this season, thus far, because I was reminded of the things about the show that I like.

I've been trying to place, for quite a long time, why it is that I don't like Danaery's dragons. I realized today that that reason was because they are really gross. I mean, there have been a lot of depictions of dragons over the centuries. Everything from odd creeping beasts:



to beautiful creatures like this one:



I understand that the showrunners want to set these dragons apart from the others that we have seen over the years. But by my foot, they are just so flipping ugly:



Like, bugger off you you hideous poop-monster, kind of ugly.




Blech.

Perhaps it's part of the show's "realisticness" that its [fantasy] dragons have to be ugly and smelly. But I don't like it, either way.

Why is he so angry? 

Why? Because he saw a glimpse of redemption but had it snatched away at the last minute. He actually respected the man who saved his life and obviously became angry, who wouldn't?    The Hound isn't an evil person, he has done evil things, but deep down life has screwed his pooch, and I think he has a tiny bit of him which is more than capable of showing pity and compassion if he was allowed to heal. But he feels damned and lost. and very very angry.

Well, I think she is a doofus. She's actively working towards having the heir of her entire house disinherited. It doesn't matter if she's pretending or not: this is idiotic. Also, she's a doofus for thinking that a drawing of a rose is either meaningful or helpful.

Margaery is a very clever woman, she is totally playing the High Sparrow because she knows that her brother is in dire danger and incapable mentally of being strong enough to fight. Loras was a gibbering mess, so Marge took on the responsibility herself to save the Tyrells from extinction. She saw that fighting the HS head on isn't going to work because he holds all the cards, so she uses the same weapons he does, using religion to manipulate and rule. Marge is 100 times cleverer than Cercei. marge drawing the Rose told her grandmother that its game on, that she hasn't gone mad and drank the Septa Bumfluff coolaid, it tells her grandmother she is acting the part and she is still a Tyrell.

I think Tommen will be killed but not by Marge. She needs him to keep her and Loras safe. She is playing the long game.


Tommen is just a kid though. It seems like his family are the true idiots for allowing him to spend so much time around High Sparrow-tard. 


She's not helping her case very much, by helping to spread the High Sparrow's influence and power over the city. Honestly the more time that goes on without somebody manning up and running the High Sparrow out of the city, the more frustrated I become with the whole story.
