Re: Tales of Home [6]
That's the problem, we don't get enough snow to justify the cold. It's like pancakes: unless you go all out with the syrup and butter it's just not worth the carbs.

Yeah, I feel you. Fortunately we don't usually get much cold either in Maryland. I'd imagine the balance is a lot worse in NYC.

It's funny how it does seem like the mason-dixon line is the cutoff for drastic snow.

I am still here and I have no idea how or why!! But as my ole Paw is found of saying 'never look a gift horse in the mouth when your trying to steal its knackers' so I will make the best of it until the world catches up with me and suitably punishes me, again
Heading out for a snowy hike in the company of Nagual soonish, will try to get some pictures while I'm out and about.

Wish I had a place out in the country with a view like that. Are all your cats kittens to have not seen snow before?

I take it you were having technical troubles again? Glad things seem to have worked out for the best. I hope they stay that way.
Enjoy your hike! We've got snow here (it seems to have followed us south), but fortunately it hasn't made the roads too bad.

Re: Tales of Home [6]
You're worse than Albert Camus.
“In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer.
And that makes me happy. For it says that no matter how hard the world pushes against me, within me, there’s something stronger – something better, pushing right back.”

Invisibility can be a tricky superpower to control. I hope you get it figured out soon. Good luck!
