Yes Blue, SNOW is lovely, especially as it gently flutters down in a moonlit night, but, not icy cold, wet, wind & rain in yer face wherever you turn & your feet get cold & wet & your nose is so cold you cant tell if its dripping till you make a puddle round your feet ! pale

Agreed Lance but, methinks that maybe THESE Royals MIGHT actually consider, & be in touch with, the very people they could be reigning over one day and stop being such Stuffed shirts ?

methinks that maybe THESE Royals MIGHT actually consider, & be in touch with, the very people they could be reigning over one day- Ariel

I think harsh lessons were learned over Charles and Diana.
And I also suspect Kate is a very strong person, has a cold ruthless streak (true nobility always do) and a plan.

Apparently there is a play, in a sort of Shakespeare style going on in London right now set when Charles is King, that is getting rave reviews. Any of you Southerners seen it?

Found a trailer for it -King Charles III

Well, that looks very interesting ? Not that Im a true blue Royalist as Im not but, seeing a new monarch in my lifetime is an event. Id like to see the rest of that. Ive deliberately shut myself orrrf from the world as media goes, my choice on my own part & that much happier for it. Ive become that much sedate ( or is that sedatED ?) either which, ( or is it senile ?) I cant make my mind up what sort of a king Charles will be, Camila will be alright....she'l have the royal stables..ho ho.

From what Iver read about it they portray Charles as the opposite sort of Monarch to the Queen, where she never speaks out or lets her private views be known Charles is more man of the people, public opinions but therefore causing political problems for the government and constitutional ones on his role (oddly enough that was the same conclusion they came to when imagining his reign in House of Cards), and Kate is portrayed as the being the strong, behind the scenes manipulator trying to get her hubby on the throne instead of Charles.

By coincidence we've been having the same weather on this continent. I'm just back in the house, building up to fire to dry off after going around picking up all the bits that have blown of the buildings and trees into inappropriate places.
