Goodness me, Bungo. And there was me considering you as a candidate - but you can't even decide who you want to be Mayor!  Shocked  Ineeed a Mayor who I know who is stong and decisive and respectful to men. Looks like it's all the way with Mirabella for me. (Or I hope at least first base this time).

I believe Odo has withdrawn already, and nominated Mirabella in his stead.

So Norc, Bungo, Azriel, David, Mirabella, Ringdrotten and Halfwise are the current nominations for Mayor.

Post by Mirabella Thu Jul 17, 2014 10:43 pm

I worry about candidates who name call. I do think calling a fellow Forumshiran a 'spazzbrain' is hardly the behaviour of a Mayor of Forumshire.

And Mrs Figg, you are right, we Banks do have a seedy past, but surely a hobbit lass with agrarian blood in her veins shouldn't be blamed. Surely a Mayor of Forumshire can represent both the urban and rural sections of our community. I hope you're not exhibiting city bias to we good rustic folk? Surely you wouldn't...  Sad

Oh sorry.. I get a bit emotional when good country people are put down upon.. but I am strong. A strong woman can show weepy compassion, I believe. A Mayor needs to be strong but still sensitive to the needs of ALL Forumshirans - not just city slickers. A woman can be upset about the threat to her newborn baby but still fight a bear off wth her bare hands and her tooth and nail!  Mad

Vote 1 for Mirabella Banks!  Very Happy

I think I'm going to sit back an watch all of this. It's always fun to do! I won't nominate anyone yet, seeing how I am Queen and I can't show a bias yet ( though Eldo seems to be breaking that rule...) I will abstain until I see some platforms!

I have a few inititial pronouncements to make about what I'll offer as Mayor.

1. Foot massages for the appropriate Sex

2. Cookery Classes for the appropriate Sex

3. Embroidery Classes for the appropriate Sex

4. Night outs for the appropriate Sex to give the other appropriate Sex time to catch up with all the scrubbing and polishing

5. Lots of the Most Expensive Jewellery and Fine Clothing for the appropriate Sex supplied by the other appropriate Sex even it means the second mentioned Sex die much younger through the hardest of lifelong labour than do the forementioned Sex so that the forementioned Sex can live ten or twenty years longer and blissfully than the second mentioned Sex that has, at long bloody last, conveniently expired

I will have more to say as the campaign continues.

And I didn't call anyone a name.  I merely performed a deductive analysis and announced the results. Twisted Evil
