- Spoiler:
I'm guessing someone he crosses paths and interacts with. So..
Meryn Trant, Kevan, Pycell? Bronn, Loras or Lancel? Jamie? Any other male actors in the Kings Landing locations?
- Spoiler:
Most likely one of the first three, but who knows.
- ADWD spoilers:
Jaime had better not die yet. I assume Varys won't be in King's Landing to kill Kevan -- though maybe he'll part ways with Tyrion early in the season? -- so I wonder if he's still doomed and if so who will do the deed.
- Spoiler:
- I think Varys will leave Tyrion when Jorah grabs him, so he may very well turn up in KL again before the end. I would think that was a big part of their reason for getting Kevan back into the story. People have talked about the epilogue as a season ender. I thnk that would be great, it was a great moment in the book.
I think Julian Glover (Pycell) said somewhere he knew how he was going, so it's not him. And you'd think the actor playing Kevan would know, no? Meryn Trant is going to Bravos apparently, so might be him. Loras ending in the books is a bit ambiguous.
Or..
Now this is just conjecture on my part, but I did just unrelatedly watch this.

I also really hope it's not Jamie.

Re: Game of Thrones -- TV ONLY
The fight between him and Brienne was so delicious that it almost made his and Arya's parting worth it.
Almost.
Almost.

Agreed, Forest; that was a good scene. It gives me hope that D&D inventing stuff could actually work to season five's advantage, or at least not tank it as some fear. Hopefully.
Re: Game of Thrones -- TV ONLY
Season five could tank?!
I never thought about it, but I suppose it is within the realm of possibility.

Re: Game of Thrones -- TV ONLY
I personally don't think it's going to; I actually think it's more likely to improve on the source material by speeding up the pacing. But the number of changes that have apparently been made and the mixed reaction to D&D's changes in the first four season make it understandable for there to be some anxiousness.
Re: Game of Thrones -- TV ONLY
I guess the changes don't bother me, because I still haven't gotten past the first book (and with my reading list constantly growing, and having less and less time to read, I don't know when I'll ever get to them).
I would just expect the quality to remain consistent from season to season, but it's not a given.

Re: Game of Thrones -- TV ONLY
I do hope we get at least an inkling what happened to the HOUND this season, even if its a tiny shot of him getting help or staggering off, anyting. I don't like not knowing what happened to him, but I guess the ambiguity is there to allow him to come back if necessary for any future plot changes. he is the only character with an ambiguous 'death scene' when you think about it mostly when a long time character dies you get to see it in gory detail, but this time you just had to imagine it, which doesn't seem GOT style. plus he is very popular, too good to lose really. But I miss the road trip with chickens. I like GOT road trips, that one in book one with Tyrion and Bronn was pretty funny too.
I didn't like the Brienne Hound fight because I like them both and it was horrible to see them try to kill each other. I didn't want either of them to lose.

I wanna see Jaqen H'ghar again. Dude's probably the coolest character in the whole story.

Re: Game of Thrones -- TV ONLY
- Spoiler:
- Apparently his representation announced he would be back for season 5 in a substantial role, and then removed the announcement.

I don't like the kindly man not knowing about him, nor him hanging around a certain black whale. You mark my words, he's up to something.

- I hope that's the case. I wonder if they'll stick him in Braavos with Arya or if they'll keep in Oldtown like he seemed to be briefly in AFFC.

- I think the idea that's been bounded around is that he'll take the role of the kindly man, or at least one aspect of the kindly man.
I hope we'll get Oldtown in season 6. And Eurons attack.

Re: Game of Thrones -- TV ONLY
- Spoiler:
- Putting him in Braavos is probably the best course for the show.
Did they ever even cast Euron? Assuming he's not actually Daario Naharis. I'm not necessarily complaining, because I never cared much for the Ironborn subplot, but they've really shortchanged that element in the last two seasons. Is Balon even dead yet in the show?
Re: Game of Thrones -- TV ONLY
- Spoiler:
- Balon seems leach proof so far.
I think Euron in the official HBO Greyjoy family three is listed as the only Greyjoy uncle. So, if any of them will appear it would probably be him. A sudden season 6 Ironborn invasion of the Reach might be good shock value too.
I'd agree on much of the Ironborn subplot, but I do think the Kingsmoot would have made great television.
