Fanfic recommendations

It's no secret that a ton of fanfiction out there is horrible and probably written by brain-addled chimpanzees, but there is also good stuff.
I've been reading some stories on Fanfiction.net lately. I just finished re-watching the anime series Code Geass, so I've been focusing on that so far. One of them is quite possibly the best fanfic I've ever read, called Lelouch of Britannia. It requires some familiarity with the show but I like it, even though it's unfinished.
And of course, no thread like this would be complete without mentioning our very own GB's The Adventures of Bilbo and Itaril.

Not kind, GB, not kind at all. I see you and I will be clashing heads. Never mind. My head is hard. As to fanfiction, my daughter reads a lot of Harry Potter fanfiction. If you want reccommendations, I could ask her. There appears to be a lot of it.

As long as it's not Slash fan fiction involving Draco and Harry, I'm all for it.

Just stumbled upon this last night and I feel like some of you guys (or at least halfy) might appreciate it. Sounds like crackfic but it's actually really well done.

I’m crammed into a burrow so small that my knees are up around my ears and the boom mike keeps slamming into my head, inhaling the potent scent of toffee-apple brandy and trying to drink a talking mouse under the table. But is it really the boom mike that’s making my head pound? I know for sure that my camera man doesn’t usually have two heads. I have to face facts. The mouse is winning.
