afrikaans sounds like a mix between dutch and made up english, norwegian, german, swedish and.. ermm. såmfink els.

English doesn't need extra 'o's floating about willy-nilly above other letters- its not right at all!
My well trained British eyes (see Figg this is something you can blame being British on and an English trait that spread) dont even read your foreign lingo, not even to scan it, they automatically dismiss it and metaphorically stand about in the middle of the sentence staring at everyone and speaking ever more loudly in simple english at you all until you either speak a proper language, english, or it starts to form naturally in your brain, as it will once you stop talking in gibberish, it being the only proper language- which is why even aliens speak it.
