"The ROUND...of the Baskervilles."
(The reast of the video might be more up norcs street than mine, but the opening is glorious.)

Re: Sherlock - BBC [3]
I'd be curious to see the rest of his appearance on the show instead of, well, whatever that video was.

Ah, I was just gonna post that.
I watch that show quite a lot and I think he did really well. If it wasn't for his impossible schedual they would probably have had him back on by now.

Thanks to watching that one Benedict video, when I opened up my main YouTube page I found this video staring back at me from the top suggestions (probably NSFW).
Re: Sherlock - BBC [3]
Now, for all my thinking Benedict Cumberbatch is a genuinly great actor I somehow don't think that video was meant for my consumption.

What happened to Norc? Did she just have a heart attack? Or is she still hunched over watching the CumbareBums video over and over with glazed eyes and a small stream of dribble?

You're remarkably calm about the Cum-bare-bums video. Are you on sedatives?

They hand out sedatives at your orchestra's weekend getaways? Must be pretty hardcore there.

I did enjoy the little repartee between Martin Freeman and the aforementioned fantastic lover.

Re: Sherlock - BBC [3]
Seeing as this is a bit of a slow news week for Sherlock news I thought I might share this sketch by the (second? third? fourth sounds safe) fourth best portrayor of Sherlock Holmes. It's from a Peter Cook and Dudley Moore sketch from a program from the start of the 70s called "Goodbye again" and really is rather wonderfull. It's a shame that the whole thing isn't on youtube anymore.
(They also made a movie seven or eight years later which is terrible, so stay away from that. I really do like this sketch though.)

Re: Sherlock - BBC [3]
Thank you, Petty!
Been a quite big Peter Cook fan for a while. So it was between the one I'm using or a picture from the video I shared.
I alway thought it was a bit of a shame, seeing that sketch, when one knows how bad the eventual movie turned out. A big missed opportunity.
Come to think of it he does remind me a bit of Cumberbatch in his portrayal.

I used to listen to the vinyls of Derek and Clive with my brother when we were kids. Fantastic.

Re: Sherlock - BBC [3]
Whaaat? Did I do that? Well maybe a little bit.
I certainly didn't mean to do so with my original post though. And I would be very interested to hear what you thought of it.
(I know it doesn't really work as it's only 3/4 of the sketch, removing any semblance of narative, but I still think the "Who did it?! Who bloody did it?!" moment is marvellous. And a bit Cumberbatchy perhaps?)
