Re: Sherlock - BBC [3]
Though police forensics would have ended up where they are now anyway, there's no doubt Doyle and Holmes put a stamp on them. The investigators interviewed said the only thing Doyle got wrong was the connection between height and stride length, but the use of gait analysis from footprints to detect a limp, carrying heavy packages, etc was not used in an actual crime until about 2000, putting Sherlock Holmes almost 120 years ahead of his time!

Re: Sherlock - BBC [3]
It makes you think, why did it take so long ? It seems obvious NOW, about the gait, stride & weight issue. Something like this can make a lot of difference ! Really interesting find, Halfy !

Hehe!!

One thing you have to love about PBS is they are not for profit, so they don't keep video to themselves. I hope the NABs can watch it, though I think the link problems are for commercial sites, not PBS.

Not sure if anyone shared this already, but here is Martin Freemans appearance on the Grahan Norton Show.
Not very much of relevance.

Your welcome. Though there wasn't much Sherlock talk, and surprisingly little Hobbit talk as well.
Oh, and finally an excuse to use this gif.
