No, not at all. That's just a pure coincidence. She is suppose to be a modern Hulder. A Hulder is a forest creature/spirit, she looks like a beautiful young woman, but has a cow tail. She would lure men into the forest and into the underworld. Oddly enough, I just read a Wholesome tale that might have been the origin of this legend.
