Re: The 2013 Forumshire Awards
I have tried very hard to add to those 2 but I cant think of anything else.
Someone needs to keep a log next year.

Re: The 2013 Forumshire Awards
I don't recall if anything special really happened on this day or if there were just a lot of people around, but the day that we made a collective 700 posts with less than 20 people in a single day was pretty memorable to me.
Re: The 2013 Forumshire Awards
We had like 400 just a couple of days ago. The forum is still getting larger and more active, albeit at a very uneven rate and with occasional dips.
Re: The 2013 Forumshire Awards
The day Dave pointed out to Petty what it felt like on the other side of crabbit was pretty memorable to me, but I don't think that could be called a Forumshire moment.Pettytyrant101 wrote:Yeah we could have a best moment category -but only if anyone can think of any more so theres more than one nomination!
There was the systematic extinction of the Banks clan, but it didn't take.

The .gif war could be a moment, but that kind of fizzled out.

That was fun.bungobaggins wrote:The .gif war could be a moment, but that kind of fizzled out.
Re: The 2013 Forumshire Awards
I'm planning on doing a .gif review (or at least a review with a lot of gifs in it) for DOS, whenever I get to see it.
Yeah, I thought the .gif war was fun, too. Apparently Norc doesn't think it's good enough to make the list.
Maybe that's because she lost.

No it bloody well doesnt! I cant believe after all this time the understanding of crabbit is still so low I try to help you, but... (go read my Macbeth parody for a better understanding Halfy as its a meditation on the misuse of crabbit and I fear you need guidance still)

Re: The 2013 Forumshire Awards
Would it be good idea to maybe add a best parody award to the the original stories categories this year?
There's certainly a few of them that has cropped up.
It would be a shame if either no original story or any of the parodies should be honoured.

Re: The 2013 Forumshire Awards
I think splitting the many stories on here into categories is a good idea- bet parody, best serial, best standalone story (I dont think we have enough 'serious' stuff for a best drama ) best play- the Archet Bugle has at least one I can think of, and I did the WotW one noone read? Best poem/song?
Any more suggestions?
We will need to finalise the categories within the next week ideally.
