Re: The Desolation of Spoilers (SPOILER-FREE thread)
Bumping this thread since the amount of material being released in clips as well as the reports from screenings is reaching critical mass.
The general spoiler policy from last year, IIRC, was that spoilery material for the new film should be kept to threads marked as containing spoilers. All other threads should not include unmarked spoilers for the new film, at least not for the first month or so. This thread provides a place for general discussion of DOS (like the pre-release thread) without having to worry about spoilers.

Re: The Desolation of Spoilers (SPOILER-FREE thread)
Pretty much.
I might slink over here between the release of the film in Europe on the 11th and when I get to see it, although I've spoiled myself pretty thoroughly already so I'm not sure there'd be much point.
I feel bad for the Australians though. They have to wait until the day after Christmas.

Re: The Desolation of Spoilers (SPOILER-FREE thread)
ok. i have english now and this is the topic:
cross-cultural communication. try to avoid using slang and idioms when you're talking to people, make your language clear and simple, be an active listener and ask question so nothing is being misunderstood.
thank you.

Well, you do seem to complain a bit about being told you complain.Norc wrote: i don't complain!
Though I would say that is understandable.

Indeed.

Allright. Allright.
I will commend you on you not complaining. You really don't complain much, at all.
Though I also realise I just made you do it again. Not my intention. Maybe best to get off the subject.

rolling ones eyes is not the same as complaining.

Now that' the sort of thing that could get you killed in some places, like Forumshire... foul advice, that isNorc wrote:ok. i have english now and this is the topic:

Re: The Desolation of Spoilers (SPOILER-FREE thread)
What's wrong with slang, exactly? Are we still talking about Norc's habit of complaining about spoilers? Because now she seems to have moved on to complaining about other things.
Re: The Desolation of Spoilers (SPOILER-FREE thread)
jeesus.. no... lol. i was just pointing out that using slang eldo, isn't always very diplomatic..
