He decided to jump out of my window onto the roof of our porch-y area, then mum had to stand on a chair outside for like 10 minutes trying to coax him back to her, ended up having to get a much higher bar-type stool and ended up getting my dirty clothes basket so he could crawl into it since he has taken a liking to it.

NBC has been showing most of the major events on time-delay so the broadcast of the closing ceremony doesn't begin here until 8:30 (though I think I got the gist of it from you lot ). I won't be able to watch it since I'm going to a drive-in movie theatre tonight with the family, but I'll set the DVR to record the ceremony anyway. I do enjoy the pageantry and all.
