My bet is Fergie will spend a fortune over the summer- build a whole new Man Utd team (again!) and win it back next year- you cant keep him down.
He will never retire- he'll die like Jock Stein, on the touchline managing his team.

Chelsea just won the Champions League. Feel sorry for Bayern, they were by far the better team but they just couldnt turn it into goals.

Since it isn't football season and the Olympics are still a few months away I haven't been paying much attention to sports, but my step-mom scored a pair of free tickets to a MLB (baseball) game and I couldn't resist. I saw the Baltimore Orioles play about seven years ago and while I don't have much interest in baseball, I have fond memories of the experience. Their stadium at Camden Yards in downtown Baltimore kicked off the retro-style of ballparks and is just all-around gorgeous.

Not my picture; I borrowed it from teh interwebs.

Our seats were directly behind home plate and only about 30 feet away from the field itself. It was the closest I'd ever been to the field in any sports stadium and it made watching baseball a completely different experience for me. It was much more interesting being able to see the players as something more than just specks in the distance and being able to hear every hit and catch of the ball.

I took this with my phone from my seat in row 16.

All in all it was a really fun time and I ended up caring more about the game than I thought I would. The Orioles pretty much dominated and won 4-1. Apparently they're actually managing a winning season so far this season, which is surprising, considering that they haven't finished with one since the late '90s. Shocked

Never could get into baseball- it bears a remarkabe similarity to rounders- a playground game for girls.

Wheres that Ozhobbit? In hiding out of shame no doubt after the Scotsdale rugby team defeated the Ozhobbits (then celebrated so much two of the players all but knocked each other out headbutting each other!)
