I'm actually a bit surprised that they're not planning on further pick-up shooting next year in between DOS and TABA. This sounds like a bit more intensive of a shoot than the LOTR pick-ups though, so maybe it was only necessary because of the three film expansion.

I'm definitely looking forward to the new vlog too. And I hope we'll see a trailer soon, but I wonder if that will have to wait until Comic-Con.

one can never know, it's PJ, can take two weeks or three years i liked the hobbit too ^^ (though you might find your faith being tested here, there are some strong opinions and some good arguments , but don't worry, they're nice.. just a bit... crabbit about PJ(mainly one named Pettytyrant, don't mind him))

i agree, this new Kick-ass woman is stupid. a strong female character has brains (it says here she's young, only 300 or something, lol, as if that makes any different, Legolas was also young when he joined the fellowship and though he was a good archman and warrior, not likely to have seen much outside mirkwood), if she can fight, good, but that can't be the only reason why she's strong. Physical strenght and being strong doesn't have to be the same fucking thing. that it is a woman who wrote Tauriel in it it's just daft. (also, it's such a bad name, Itaril was so much cuter, why didn't saorise ronan join in the cast? why did she do host? i mean wtf, although Hanna isn't the movie it promised to be, Saorise is wonderful in it! she could he such a great elf! and not evangelin lily)

Nah, it was still terrible with some of the worst acting committed to screen. Even blocks of wood were watchig thinking 'thats some pretty wooden acting there'.
Even the Arnie cameo as Conan (but without the name for licencing reasons! Couldnt save it from pure awfulness).
