not at the moment no. exams and shit, so it's a compressed schedule. i only had barely two hours of physics today. besides now it's seven in the evening .

It's not really the One Ring if it doesn't magnetically fall onto your finger from an improbable height, though.

Re: Sherlock - BBC [2]
Finally had a chance to watch a few episodes of this series, and I'm liking it so far (only seen three episodes yet)! I've not made up my mind regarding Moriarty, though :scratch:He's not at all reminiscent of the character I imagined he would be when I read the books, but that doesn't necessarily mean I don't like him. The series is also a bit heavy on the drama, in my opinion - the Brett series managed perfectly fine without it. But those are quibbles, I've enjoyed the show so far

Re: Sherlock - BBC [2]
When I want to watch something thats basically just like the books I return to Brett's version ever time.
But as a contemporary take on the stories and characters I find Sherlock hugely entertaining.
But Im not sure Sherlock has the same repeat viewing staying power of Bretts, his is worth rewatching every episode just for the subtleties you note in his complex performance- and I think Cumberbach puts in a solid complex performance, its just not as deep as Bretts, but then Brett drove himself into mental illness playing Holmes so thats perhaps for the best really.

Re: Sherlock - BBC [2]
Few things more inexplicably frightening to me as a kid than the "dancing figures" montage on "The Dancing Men".

Maybe the combination of the imagery and the music- can you remember which bit?- is it the original letter, the ones Holmes puts on the blackboard, or the chalk 'dancing figures' on the bench by the lake?
I cant remember a montage of them- unless maybe thats at the end when the reveal is.
