bringing this back because i just realised that Benedict does the Star Trek salute rather than, idk, gangstaah thing Freeman does. and i like it they erm, they're almost done filmin S3E2 and this tweet was a farewell from Director of Photography Steve Lawes.
Re: Sherlock - BBC [2]
translation from a german newspaper, interview with Benedict, the last question+answer the translator said, was the most interesting, the rest was stuff we know beforehand-
Interviewer: There will be three more cases of “Sherlock”. After that it’s supposed to be finished?
BC: My colleague Martin Freeman who plays Watson and I have sworn to ourselves that we would stop at once should we have only the faintest suspicion that the show is only continued for financial [commercial (?)] reasons. And since the quality of the scripts has been very high from the beginning, it’s becoming more and more difficult to find new cases without slipping into silly exaggerations. Basically you should “never say never”, but in case Sherlock is continued after the new episodes, I would definitely be in favour of a very long hiatus. If you don’t take care the weight of such a popular role might crush you.

I am still not keen on Elementary, the other two productions are 100 times better.
